His reply was everybody says that. Im not everyone nor am I a number. I seen my surgeon next day to find out i need emergency surgery. I tried to explain I been on. Ocycodone for years not working no more so didn't want them anymore. All I asked was take care of me after surgery with hydromorphadone and since I didn't show up for and appointment. Stay away from Dr. Christina Wong and Nurse Practitioner Teresa Martone. WORST Pain Management Physician and Nurse Practitioner I've ever seen. I've been a Nurse Epidemiologist with a PhD in Epidemiology, as well as a One-Weekend per Month Critical Care Nurse, both for 30 years First thing Wong did was cut my dose in half ....... too fast and I went into Opioid withdrawl. What a total nitwit for putting me in a life-threatening situation. Then, after getting me down to CDC "suggested" but not required 90 MMEs, told me she couldn't start me on Belbuca until I was weaned OFF Oxycontin COMPLETELY for at least one month. Wong was WRONG (excuse the oxymoron there -- because WONG IS A MORON). She couldn't even interpret the SEVENTEEN scientific studies correctly stating that you can come up slowly on Belbuca, while going down on Oxycontin as long as your are already down to 90 MMEs. Totally PATHETIC. Thank God I had enough healthcare and Nursing experience to transfer to Relievus where they did exactly that. I was already down to 90 MMEs Oxycontin, and they started me up very slowly on Belbuca, and down on Oxycontin. Relievus Physicians, Physician's Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are current on scientific studies and Advanced Pain Management skills and modalities. Christina Wong and Teresa Martone at ReclaimAbility need to return for a Refresher course in BASIC Pain Management, because they are TOTAL screw-ups in the Advanced concepts. If I could give 0 stars, I would. They are rude and condescending. I went in with everything the lady told me to on the phone and when I get there, they dismiss me because they don't have any of my information. Terrible terrible TERRIBLE place to go. Would not recommend even to my worst enemies. I would rather live in pain then go back to that horrible place. And I live all the way in cape May county so 45 min drive for a 5 minute discussion with the receptionist. read more

I see Garry on a regular basis, he has saved my life, almost literally. For years upon years I tried different doctors, different treatments, even moved to different states trying to find relief for a nerve disease that I suffer from called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, CRPS. I tried multiple series of injections in my spinal cord and sympathetic nerve channel, with little to no relief, and definitely no lasting relief. For over 4 years my doctors in Nee York wanted me to get the a spinal cord neurostimulator, within 6 months of starting to see RA pain I had my trial surgery date. When that surgery did not work I went back to see Garry, one of the PAs at the office, and he tried multiple different combinations of medications that my insurance would approve. He went above and beyond to learn about my condition since it is very rare, and try to find me a way to go back to a somewhat normal life. Finally Garry and the office team fought with my insurance for me, 2 months in a row with several denials from my insurance with the office staff submitting appeals on my behalf within 24 hours of receiving the denial, he finally found a way to get my insurance to approve the medication that had finally given me the first bit of relief/pain control I have had in roughly 15 years. The office staff are all so wonderful and nice too. They always take it upon themselves to ask about things that are personal because they actually care, which is so VERY rare in medicine today. Even things not relating to my medical care, like my mother having open heart surgery, my elderly cat that has cancer and the status of a repair on my home from a flood. They are all amazing, kind hearted, truly compassionate people with the most amazing bedside manner I have ever experienced, and having CRPS I have experience with a LOT of doctors, from New York all the way down to Florida and a few places in between. So I can honesty say with confidence that you will not be disappointed in how completely caring the staff are and the quality of care is unsurpassed. read more
