Good wine. If you reserve a tour, they will charge you for those who do not show up - without fore warning (this is not typical). the wine tour is normally 18€ per person tasting 4 wines with cheese and meat. The wine tour leader wasnt as friendly as others nornally are, and the wines werent explained well. Told us barrels were french but clearly marked Hungarian (maybe french wood assembled in Hungary? Ive seen similar things done/said at other wineraries). The tour leader also seemed a bit annoyed by us from the onset. She left us in the room alone for several sessions at a time, and didnt stick around for us to ask questions; however, when she WAS around to ask, she was helpful. We had 11 people but had to pay for 15 as the reservation was set for 15, table was sent for 20. She boxed the additional 2 bottles of wine (though we paid for them) and never offered to send them with us. Buying 4 bottles of wine doesnt discount the price of the tour which is also very unusual.
Not a terrible experience, but there are several other options I would pick first. read more
