I personally have 10+ hours of ink scattered about my body from Flaco (both color, black/grey, flash and original artwork), and intend on getting more done by him in the future. This studio is clean, both of the artists are professional, VERY talented, honest, and dedicated to their art. Asked around with the locals to get the best input on where to go- Rebel's was suggested every single time! Was a great experience- all the guys were super friendly and nice, Izzy did my tats and I definitely plan on going back for more in the future! I was camping about 30 miles away and lost the front off of a fresh piercing..... I saw online that this place in Wenatchee did piercings so we drove into town with the hopes they could sell me a replacement front. I called and they said they could help me out, they squeezed me right in, and within 15 minutes I was out the door and back to camping, with a fixed piercing and a spare piece of jewelry too- just in case! Amazing is all I have to say. Not only is the artwork amazing.. which mine is free hand...the service and cleanliness is exceptional. Flacko was so patient with me even though i squirmed and yelped like a pansy lol. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have already recommended this place to everyone. Let me open this review by saying it is my first Yelp review. Working in the service industry has turned me off to Yelp as I realize that there are some people out there who no level of service will please and they will always find something to complain about. That being said, I feel a bit of responsibility to Yelp about something as permanent as a tattoo. My interaction with Flaco was very pleasant. I was not familiar with him or his work before walking in to his shop on a whim. I am a fairly tattooed girl (full chest piece, full sleeve, large upper back piece, and several small to medium pieces elsewhere) so I have some experience to base this review on. Flaco was friendly and able to do the tattoo that day. The shop was clean and I felt comfortable. The poor review is in regards to the actual tattoo work. He was doing my knuckles and after the first pass on my right hand it was apparent that he had not dropped enough ink in my skin. So he had to go over it again. And again a third time. It was almost as if he didn't know what he was doing. There is absolutely no reason to have to go over a tattoo 3 times in order to get enough color in. He did better on the left hand and only had to go over it twice. I have lots of experience healing tattoo work and am aware that knuckles can be a hard place to hold ink. For that reason, I was EXTRA careful while healing my knuckles. I kept them out of the sun, didn't soak them in water, washed my hands carefully, kept them lightly moisturized so they wouldn't dry out etc. I was determined to have them heal well and quickly. Well, the healing process went great. The tattoo work I am left with most definitely DID NOT. I can say that this is without a doubt the WORST tattoo I have ever received. It looks like I had it done in prison. The right hand, the one he went over THREE times, looks like it is 20 years old. The lettering is splotchy and what color is there is faint and faded. The left hand is better but not by much. I am going to have to have them redone in order to have something I can live with and not cringe when I look at it. I am positive that the crappy tattoos I have are from his lack of skill and have absolutely nothing to do with them being on my knuckles. People, before you get a tattoo, do your research. Perhaps Flaco does better tattooing other body parts but my recommendation would be to seek out another artist. From what I experienced his workmanship and execution are very, very poor. read more
