She is straightforward and easily communicates complicated financial magic (or might as well be to my non-mathematical brain). I really value the fact that she uses plain language. I feel like she gives me good guidance on financial matters, and she processed my tax return quickly and with far more attention to detail than any accountant I've had before her. I am a freelance consultant, and am also incorporating another venture later this year. Since last year when I first started working with her, Katrina has been really clear about what I should be focusing on, and has helped me with everything from basic accounts and how they should go together, to what my next steps should be as a business owner.

I started out by asking about terminating my probation early on AVVO with the intent to hire one of…read morethe attorneys who responded to me. Mr. Felling was one of three attorneys who responded to my request for help, and I chose to schedule a consultation with him because he was the only one who offered one for free. From that fact alone, I could tell Mr. Felling really cares a lot about the concerns of his clients. After explaining my situation I knew he would go the extra mile in trying to help me get my probation terminated early in order to improve my chances of having job opportunities that my probation was holding me back from obtaining/maintaining. His assistant, Sara, was delightful and very quick to respond to emails too. The District Attorney objected to my motion for early termination; in Linn County, terminating probation early when that's the case is very difficult. Mind you, I have a very unique and extraordinary set of circumstances that caused probation to be excessively harsh. One of those circumstances was very embarrassing and personal for me. I did not want anything about it to be said out loud in court because of that. Mr. Felling went the extra mile again. He asked to go into the judge's chambers before my hearing with the district attorney to privately share the sensitive information with the judge. With Mr. Felling at my side, I beat the odds and my motion was granted. I highly recommend him if you want an attorney who really cares about you and will go the extra mile.

I am in the process of dealing with a court case. Mr Reid shattered many of the illusions I had, gave me much better information to light our path and gave me all the correct information we need to construct an airtight case. I asked him what would happen if I lost, and I paraphrase when he replied, "We don't go into court to lose, we go into court ready to prevail!" The retainer fee and requisite costs for necessary subpoena's were lower than I expected. Give him a call!
