I recently worked with Rebecca on our new website. She traveled with me to several clients and took photos of them and their businesses. We are using the shots to put onto our new website, which will hopefully be going live very soon (check us out at http://www.balcosinsurance.com - if you are greeted with a red and black website, that's the old one. Softer colors = new, and you can see her work!) She did an amazing job. Rebecca was flexible, fun, and captured the essence of what our clients did very well. I appreciate her skills and all the hard work she put into this project. I highly recommend her photography for anyone, whether it is weddings, portraits, headshots, or anything else. She does amazing work. You can check it out at http://www.rebeccaellison.com Thank you so much, Rebecca! read more

Honestly, I took a leap of faith when I hired Rebecca to take our engagement photos, but I couldn't be happier! We were only in Seattle a couple days and the photographer we initially hired could not make it at the last minute. We were disappointed, but she had recommended Rebecca as a replacement. Not only was Rebecca able to shoot us on a few hours notice, she was extremely flexible and accommodating (she drove through the horrible rush-hour traffic so I could get my shots in both Issaquah and Seattle). Fiance and I aren't very comfortable in front of the camera, put Rebecca immediately but us at ease. She's friendly, funny, and easy to work with. She has a great eye and helped set-up some great shots without making us look too posed or cheesy. She even went out of her way to lay on the ground and run into traffic in order to get a great shot. We had a lot of fun working with her, and it made the time fly by. When I saw the pictures she took of us, I was amazed. She is able to compose the picture in such a way that it looks even better than it did in real life. Check out the pictures on her blog and you'll see for yourself! read more

My wife and I have been lucky enough to work with Becca for the last few months for both our engagement photos and more recently our wedding at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish. Words can't begin to express our gratitude for Becca. Becca not only did an amazing job with the photos but also made us feel so comfortable throughout both occassions. I can say we are not the most comfortable having pictures taken of us but it was like one of our long time friends was a part of the occassions and Becca made us feel so comfortable. We loved every minute of the process and are currently finalizing our wedding book photos. She did such a great job, that every time we see the photos, it brings back the amazing emotions of the days all over again. read more

My wife and I found Rebecca online as we are California residents and we're traveling to Seattle for our anniversary. Rebecca was the only one of a handful of photographers that we reached out to that actually contacted us back. She very flexible with her availability as we were in Seattle only a couple days and wanted to take portraits to commemorate our 5 year anniversary. It was awesome meeting Rebecca and she traveled with us to shoot at an amazing setting outside of Seattle. Very professional and a delight to work with. We were blown away with the final portraits. Definitely recommend her for anybody that is looking to create beautiful memories through her photography. Thanks Rebecca! read more

Rebecca was our wedding photographer, at a unique outdoor location on Bainbridge Island, and she was AMAZING. From the moment I met her at the Seattle wedding show, it was clear that she was the photographer for my husband and I. We were based in Baltimore, MD during the planning process, and she was able to schedule an initial Skype call with us to talk through things, and was super easy to communicate with despite the distance. We decided to invest in our wedding photos and it definitely paid off. Rebecca listened to what we wanted and was able to accommodate our wishes. We asked for not as many posed formal portraits, and also a large group photo with all the guests and she only made it happen with a smile on her face. Our photos turned out amazing. In addition to the photos, Rebecca helped us with certain planning and logistics on the day of the wedding. We didn't really know what we were doing, but her guidance helped us so much. We are so appreciative of Rebecca and all she has done for us! I highly recommend her for any photography or creative projects you may have. read more

Rebecca was simply amazing to work with throughout the entire process, and you won't ever regret hiring her! Her work is outstanding, and she captured our wedding day perfectly. We are in love with our final images and she helped capture every detail! We hired Rebecca through Get Hitched Give Hope, and her entire fee went to charity to help fulfill dreams of adults suffering from terminal illness; she not only has an amazing talent and personality, but also a huge heart. read more

My wife and I found Becca by chance, really, when we were conducting an early internet search for a wedding photographer. We were drawn in by the down-to-earth tone of her website and the stunning photographs showcased. When we met Becca for the first time, we had a very comfortable conversation about who we are as a couple and what our goals were for our wedding (at the time, we didn't know much more than that we wanted great photos!). Becca discussed her approach, her training, and the different services she offers. She recommended an engagement session so that she could "get to know" who we are and how we present in front of a camera. While we weren't completely convinced that we needed engagement photographs necessarily, the benefits she described from an engagement session seemed entirely worth it, so we proceeded. THEY WERE THE MOST AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHS EVER TAKEN OF US! Even more, we learned what she meant and was looking for in each of her directives. This translated beautifully at the wedding, when we needed much less instruction and direction for the photographs. Becca was easy to work with, and always paid close attention to our wish-list and camera-related insecurities. She has a fantastic sense of humor and a knack for putting folks at ease. I honestly didn't even notice her during our wedding ceremony and most of the reception, but we have HUNDREDS of photographs, and every single one from our desired wish list. I can't imagine anyone more professional and easy to work with, and intend to return to Becca for future photographic needs. read more

Rebecca and I have worked together two times over the last couple of years and I have to say she is wonderful. She shot a portrait session that turned out beautiful on a sunny October afternoon, and I loved all the results. The second one was a Bordeaux shoot that was shot in a swanky hotel room that turned out great too. Super professional, funny, and very creative. I would love to have her documenting all of the major events in my life. She is a great person to work with. I will look forward to working her again. read more

We did the bump and baby sessions with Becca and loved it! Everyone raved about our fantastic pictures- they were wonderful and worth every cent. Rebecca has an easy going personality that helped put us at ease in front of the camera and made the experience relaxing and fun. I marveled when I saw the photos because she somehow captured both me and my husband at our best. We have never looked so good! A great self-esteem boost to have at 9 mo pregnant. Thanks Becca for images of my family I know I will treasure for a lifetime. read more

As a professional make-up artist for over 10 years I have worked with many photographers and in many situtaions (some good, some bad)... Recently I had the opportunity to work with a photographer who has set the bar...Enter, Rebecca Ellison! Having never worked with her before, i came in with an uncertainty of what to expect, with only my past experiences to have any sense of an idea...My expectations where quickly and pleasantly changed. More than just a fabulous photographer, Becca creates a working enviroment that is fun, creative and professional. She has a way, with those she works with (hired help and clients) of creating an environment you can't help but feel comfortable in and still keeping a high level of professionalism. Though i was there to "do make up", Rebbeca made feel fully apart of the shoot and VERY appreciated! If you are looking to work with Rebecca, as a client or hired help, you can expect nothing but the best! read more

Becca has photographed many important moments in my life, most recently I hired her as my wedding photographer. Her dedication, focus, and ability to flood our day with happiness and laughter will never be forgotten. She captured long overdue family photos as well as candid photos of us and our guests showing our true emotion on such a special day. A day that went by in a blur was able to be relived through images my family and I will treasure forever. She is most certainly my go to person for life's important, picture-worthy milestones!!! read more

I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! I worked with her before to take some boudoir shots for my man and we loved that experience so much, there was no question who we wanted for our wedding. Rebecca really took the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals to make personalized photos of our special day. We enjoyed our time with her for our engagement photos and visiting before the wedding. She knew just what to ask and suggest; we've never done this before! More than once throughout the day, Rebecca would come grab us and make sure we got the photos we had asked for when we were in no state of mind to think of anything other than what was right in front of us. My wonderful mother-in-law who grew up in a family of nine and raised six kids (five of them boys) singlehandedly said "I LIKE her, she is GOOD" while Rebecca did the impossible and herded our GIANT families into very special and very large family photos quickly and seemingly with ease. All 100 of them are smiling and looking at the camera, too! I can't imagine how hard her work must be some times! It was the best day of our lives! We couldn't have done it without her! She provided us with the best and most beautiful documentation that we will cherish all our lives! We know who will be there to document our family as it grows. WE LOVE YOU, REBECCA!!! read more

We COULD NOT have picked a better photographer than Becca. Hiring the perfect photographer was one of the most important things on my list when planning our January 2017 wedding. We met with several photographers, but in our initial meeting with Becca not only did we click (I think we chatted for at least an hour) - she was SO organized and full of good ideas. By the time I left, she had pretty much planned out my whole day-of timeline, helped me understand exactly what I needed in a photographer in terms of hours on site, etc. and given me several great suggestions for photo locations in and around our venue. For a Type A person like myself, this totally won me over - and I didn't feel like I got this level of organization and professionalism from any other photographer I'd talked to prior to our meeting, and the people I met with after our meeting didn't even come close to comparing. So, choosing Becca was an easy decision. When we booked with her, I shared with Becca that my fiancé was extremely photo shy and hated being the center of attention, so I was worried that photos would be a super painful experience for him. Becca suggested an engagement photoshoot so that when the day-of came, he'd know what to expect and be more comfortable in front of the camera. Best advice ever. While he was pretty uncomfortable during our engagement shoot, you wouldn't know it from the images Becca was able to capture. And, when our wedding day rolled around, he was noticeably more relaxed and was able to have more fun with the photos. We had so much fun with Becca on the day of - she made sure we looked great, stayed relaxed and laughed a lot. She was extremely accommodating with our families (dad in a wheelchair and a fussy 6-month-old niece presented some fun challenges for her) and captured even the smallest details of our day, which we wouldn't have otherwise seen in the hustle of it all. In our final planning meeting with Becca, she even took the time to build a list of group pictures we wanted at the wedding (i.e., friends from college, extended families, etc.) and made sure to grab us throughout the night so we didn't forget to get these shots. Our photos turned out AMAZING and everyone raved about what a good job she did. We've had the images for a few days now, and I can't stop looking at them! I would highly recommend Becca for anyone who's looking for a true pro - a creative, professional, fun, artistic, willing-to-lay-flat-on-the-ground-on-a-cold-January-day-to-get-the-shot photographer. Rebecca is truly an amazing photographer! She is so talented and creative and took beautiful pictures for our engagement session and wedding. We were a little uncomfortable having someone follow us around at first, but she made it to wear it was completely natural for us and didn't even notice her too much for the engagement photos and wedding. I would recommend Becca to anyone - I even had a few friends who are already married tell me she wished she had Becca as her photographer! read more

I can not say enough about Rebecca Ellison Photography! Rebecca was our photographer for our wedding this last summer and we couldn't have made a better choice. Rebecca was fun to work with and really helpful. I live in Oregon and most of our planning was done through e-mail. Rebecca was always quick to respond and I really feel like she went the extra mile to keep things as easy as possible for me. After we met with her to discuss the wedding day plan I knew our day was going to go smoothly and I was right! Rebecca blended in to the party and it resulted in amazing and priceless pictures. Rebecca is skilled at what she does, the pictures were amazing and the overall experience was stress free. Becca was the second shooter for our wedding last week. She was amazing to work with: comfortable to be around, a calming and fun presence, and on top of all that, a fantastic photographer. She got some great shots and has what I think is a key trait of any wedding photographer: the ability to get the right shots without even knowing she's there. We were so happy Becca stepped in to shoot our wedding, and can't recommend her highly enough. read more
