When I walked in (woman over 50) there were three men inside the desk who completely ignored me. I asked about laminated worktops and the boy threw his thumb over his shoulder and said 'they are over there'. That was it. No one came to help me in the five minutes or so I stood looking trying to work out what was what in terms of makes and pricing. During this time a man came into the shop, clearly a friend of one of the men inside the counter. They started speaking in very animated voices, swearing and chatting in a manner I did not think was very good for other customers. When I asked for help, one of the men came over and seemed very bored by my queries. When he said that he couldn't get a certain worktop for two weeks I said I would need it sooner and he looked at me like I was completely daft. He did not offer further help or make any suggestions. It would appear that Rearo do not read their reviews as the user in 2010 was treated in the same way. B & Q are really much nicer, more respectful to their customers and although a big store I am definitely choosing it in the future. I would also say to women that PLEASE do not use this store. I walked in an had to ask someone for help they have no time for customers only phone orders an computor work not pleasent staff , when I asked if there was another place near buy with a better selection one female said they dont like giving that information out thats bad for for her trade beleive me with attatude like that its a wonder its still open. read more

Buying from this company? Then Beware. This company charges a 40% restocking charge if you have to cancel an order, even if you have not received the goods. Very sharp practice in my opinion. Better sticking to Wickes or even B&Q, much better service and at least you will not be stung for exorbitant fees if the order is not suitable. read more

Well, I walked in and was ignored for 20mins by everyone although no other customers were around. Then, when I asked the front desk, they directed me to one of the ladies who was ignoring me. I had a detailed diagram of the worksurfaces I required but was told it was not detailed enough. I then drew further diagrams of my relatively simple worktops with EVERY conceivable dimension, finish,cutout and requirement whilst being ignored a little longer. As I handed this over I was told it would take 3-4 days to give an estimate-astounding, as every other business I have dealt with formulated an estimate in 2 minutes! A week later I still have not had an estimate and I can only conclude that Rearo have no need for my £2300 business. read more
