A friend and I came to NYC looking for apartments mid-July, since we start school in September. We spent a week with two other brokers/salespersons and we ended up wasting our time. They tried to push us into closing as quick as possible on places that we truly had little interest in. They were "okay" apartments but our hearts were just not for them up until we found Gabe at 25Realty (through NakedApartments). We contacted him and met up with him within a day or two and he showed us some really nice places. The one thing we really liked about Gabe was that he could relate to our concerns and did not push us into making hasty decisions--he worked WITH us and he gave us the space and time we needed. Moving while pregnant is not fun, but thankfully it was much less a hassle when using 25 Realty. We had looked at a few apartments with no success when I had set up an appointment with Hatem(Tim.) I'm not going to lie I was skeptical about the first apartment he was taking us to because he was talking it up so much. To my surprise, the apartment was amazing. He was right on with all that he had said. After seeing it, we knew this was our future home, but he took us to another place just to make sure. We first looked on a Sunday, and we signed the lease on Tuesday. Fastest moving experience I have ever had. The bonus was finding out the apartment was rent stabilized when we signed the lease. Nothing makes me happier than finding out I don't have to stress out about my rent going up $500 like it did with my last apartment. Thank you to the 25 Realty team for making my pregnant move less complicated. We love our new home! Just a side note: If you are looking to move with this team, have everything together including documents and money. Everything moved so fast for us because we weren't expecting to move yet that it was a little overwhelming though it was best for us in the end. read more

Realtynerd has some good listings. But guys.. make sure you have a good word of guarantee before you move forward working with them. Especially before you put down the holding deposit! These realtors Ma*ia and Yo*ef.. They promised us to rent this unit by paying 1 month rent, 1 month security deposit, and 1.5 month realty fee. So we prepared that much money ready and we put $500 holding deposit so they put down the ad from the web (like Zillow, StreetEasy, etc). We had limited money and we prepared all they requested us to prepare. But the deal has changed right after we paid the holding deposit. They wanted us to pay more months of rent upfront which is the deal we would never be able to accept if we have known before. Now it's not the deal we can do anymore nor they don't give our $500 back because they said the deal could have made with the conditions that we have NEVER agreed to. It was like "Now you paid the holding deposit, your new deal's here. Follow it or your deposit will be gone". So PLEASE guys.. get the definite verbal/written agreement between you and the Realtynerd before you EVER move forward working with them. read more

I have to honestly say that 25 Realty did an amazing job with helping me and my fiancé's apartment search. We were in a pinch with our search, waiting to hear back on an application with a different broker company and had been having issues reaching the broker and the landlord to hear on the decision. We decided to give Hatem Saleh at 25 Realty a call. I was hesitate to reach out to him at first because we had already put down a $500 deposit on the other place. I was glad I did. Not only did we find an apartment to fit our needs, but he went above and beyond to ensure that not only did we get the apartment, but when we left New York City we had a lease in hand (this was a feat because it was less than a 24 hour turnaround). I came to New York looking for an apartment and I never realized how hard it would be. I reached out to a few different reality companies and some of them just did not want to work with me at all. I finally came across 25 reality and emailed them. Within hours I received a call back from Moe Hamdan. I explained what I was looking for, my budget, move in date as well as my situation. Moe was absolutely wonderful, he assured me that we would find an apartment. He kept in contact with me and showed me a great apartment. I'm sitting in my fantastic new apartment writing this review. I came across 25 Realty when I spotted a nice apartment on a listing website. The unit was listed by real estate salesperson George Campo. I had never lived in NYC before, so the entire process was intimidating. But George made my wife and I feel right at home. We showed up at his office, and he spent the morning driving us around Brooklyn showing us different listings. The third listing was perfect, so we drove back to George's office, where he let us use his computer to gather all the documents needed for an application (none of which we'd thought to bring with us!) This was on a Friday. We signed the lease Monday!!! I can't speak highly enough of George Campo and 25 Realty. George did a fantastic job, always answered his cell phone, and pushed to finish the application and lease process as quickly as possible. 5 stars! read more

I recently had to move out due to my landlord selling his house. I tried going with the no broker route but that didn't work out too well and wasted 2 weeks of my time. I was walking on 3rd ave and noticed 25 Realty's catchy modern office with the brick exposed wall. I worked with an agent there who sat down with me first and asked me what I was looking for in an apartment and what my deal breakers are. He pulled up 3 apartments to show me from his system and after checking them out I left a deposit on a beautiful apartment by shore road. The whole process was very smooth and easy. My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience with this company. Mohammed was very professional with us and he was always in contact with me when I had questions. He was always available to help. I highly recommend him and this company for your apartment hunting needs. To find this apartment I dealt with a lot of inexperienced, unprofessional and over priced realtors who were not as available and willing to help as Mohammed so I would say save yourself the headache and just go here. I found a great apartment with them and it was much easier than dealing with other realtors. They're the best. And the office in bay ridge is really nice too. Great experience with 25 Realty. Kay Kikuchi was wonderful!!! We were able to find a perfect & affordable place in Sunset Park. My roommates and I are young and were newish to navigating NY real estate, and she was extremely patient and helpful with us. We had lots of paperwork and multiple guarantors, but her good organization and friendly, optimistic attitude made everything easy. Since she lives in the Brooklyn area she could recommend parks, restaurants, etc. as well. She was always available and always punctual! Took away one star for the cost of the broker's fee. The amazing service was almost worth it for us, but of course we would have liked it to be lower as its a large expense for a bunch of recent college grads. read more

These guys are great. I moved into my new apartment in Bay Ridge last week and I'm loving it. They were all very straight forward and helpful. Several agents were working together to help us find a good place. the whole thing only took a few days! I read meshvish's comment after giving t25 realty 500 to hold a place and got a bit worried. It turned out I had nothing to worry about. Got the place, the 500 was deducted from the realtors fee minus the money used for a credit report which was they told me about before I gave them anything. These guys aren't shady in the least. So I really hate searching for apartments but Mohammad was a phenomenal agent. My roomate and I had contacted him and he responded immediately.
