Don't believe the fake 5 star reviews! STAY AWAY.
I have always been a respectful, clean, and quiet tenant. I have never experienced incompetence and intentional malice the way I have with this company. Forget any college dorm or apartment stories, if you've heard of the "landlord special" THIS takes the cake.
Upon inspection during the viewing, the Orlando condo was filthy and had a live & dead roach. Cheap chipping white paint plastered over everything, rusty hinges, and literally decaying wood (cabinets, door frames, etc.). I requested the condo be professionally cleaned and pest control services be completed before move in (this was added to my lease agreement). They asked for 2 month's rent to secure the move in date as a security deposit as well as 1st month's rent. Upon arrival, nothing was cleaned and pest control was not done. They lied and said it was. I pointed out all the obvious gunk and smashed roach on a closet wall. I should have left that day but I already had the U-haul in the parking lot. I have regretted it every day living here.
Within the first month of living here, the washing machine shook so violently it woke my neighbors and jumped across the floor, the disposal shot back foul smelling water and wouldn't work, the bathroom sink was rusted through and through and was leaking heavily in 3 different places into the bottom cabinets, the screen door fell off the hinges after the upstairs neighbor slammed their door, the majority of outlets did not work, and then the dishwasher that I never used also started filling with foul moldy liquid, and many more issues.
Each time I filed a maintenance request (per my lease, appliances and non-minor repairs are their responsibility), they marked the request as complete and ignored it. I called, emailed, and texted (with no response whatsoever) for days until weeks. Finally Dalila in the resident portal would tell me that it was not their responsibility to fix, and that they were going to "add charges to my ledger" if they sent someone out and determined that it was "my fault". Dalila in the resident portal made it her personal job to delay any repairs and send maintenance men in the middle of the night that sometimes stayed until past 11PM. I repeatedly voiced that this is unsafe for me as a single woman living alone, yet the same continued. Dalila even went on to send me links to disposal systems from Home Depot for me to repair myself!
The only way I could have any kind of progress made on the several maintenance requests was by stating that I would be contacting a tenant rights attorney and take them to small claims court for breaching my lease agreement. I emailed their team multiple times describing the threats to charge me for maintenance, the unprofessional behavior, and the way their staff would wholly ignore me, and then harass me via text and call when they wanted to do viewings. In the email I described how they tried to intimidate me and say they would enter my home and do viewings anyway and that this was allowed in my lease (obviously false), and several other issues and have not received a response til date. I called & texted Victoria and Sandra several times with 99% no answer or DND & no call back. What little I do get back clearly shows that the folks working here are not fluent in English and are unable to conduct business professionally.
3 months into living in this purgatory, I hope this review dissuades you from ever renting or buying from these awful, unscrupulous, and unprofessional people. read more
