Jill Nelson-RE/MAX Realty Consultants

I met Jill Nelson first time a year ago through our mutual friend recommendation and I never regret…read morethat I choose her to be my agent. I got a job out of state and had to sell my lovely contemporary house in WV. Jill did NOT have an easy task to sell. House had foundation issues, which had to be address prior attempt to sell. It was a long and emotional journey for me personally. Jill provide enormous assistance and support through this difficult process. Jill showed nothing, but professionalism, patience, and perseverance. She stuck with me the entire way and never let me down. Her help and her forbearance moved me. It goes beyond your job and reflects your goodness of heart and soul. Just so, you know... I do absorb your words/messages of encouragement and positive thoughts through this difficult house selling process. Finally, we succeed! Everything is done and house been sold! I just want to say, THANK YOU for EVERYTHING you did to help me with the sale of my home. From communications with numerous contractors, electricians, plumbers, checking out details, preparing for open house, explaining things foreign to me, to quick and complete follow-up on all of my crazy questions and constant interaction - it was all TRULY appreciated. I would not be able to sell my house without your professional expertise. I highly recommend Jill Nelson for your real estate needs. I will continue to refer you to anyone, who needs help buying or selling a home.

She was going to meet Chris to tour the house but again, no contact from Chris. This is not the way I ran my business. Hopefully, we will hear from her

Recently had the opportunity to work with 2 Old Colony realtors. Hugh Ladd listed a house for us…read more Listing the house is pretty much all Hugh did besides regularly telling us what we should do to improve the house (put more money in the house). He made NO real attempt to sell the house (holding only 1 open house in 6 months). My second Old Colony experience was with Debi Reynolds (buyers agent). After a horrible non productive 6 months with Hugh, we hired a new agent that had a contract on our house in less than 60 days.......the buyers agent Debi Reynolds did very little communicating with my agent. Our original/initial contract had a closing date that due to the buyers lending issues had to be delayed. My agent was never notified of the delay and until I asked about the closing was not aware of any issues with the Buyer. As the Buyers agent Debi should have made sure that all persons involved were informed in a timely manner of any delays/changes. There seems to be a lackadaisical attitude among Old Colony agents when it comes to certain home sales. Old Colony Agents wanting to make a name for themselves by making the "BIG" sale, while neglecting the smaller home seller/buyer. I wouldn't recommend or use this company again.

At teays valley town homes- Don't expect your security deposit back either even if you vacuum all the rooms before you leave. I've never had issues like I did at this place. Avoid this place, I would never rent here again.

I loved the included washer and dryer! The few small issues I had were immediately fixed, as were other requests like having external light bulbs replaced and posting some signs for an event. It was nice being surrounded by other professionals and not a bunch of undergrads. I always felt safe and it was nice having a secure building. Also, I enjoyed the pool and regularly used the fitness room. David Tarter always responded promptly to questions I had. I liked that I was right on HWY 60 and close to the interstate. Probably the only downsides were that on the weekends I always had to smell the buffet at the Golden Corral and it made me hungry and sometimes people parked stupid (that is not the fault of the apartments!). The only reason I moved, was that my husband was able to join me in Huntington and we needed to get a bigger place with a garage, otherwise I would have stayed.
