If you aren't interested in that type of rental adventure, I'd strongly advise you to look elsewhere. If you choose Option A, be warned that you will not receive any of your deposit back even if you leave the apartment in better condition than when you moved in.

Recently had the opportunity to work with 2 Old Colony realtors. Hugh Ladd listed a house for us…read more Listing the house is pretty much all Hugh did besides regularly telling us what we should do to improve the house (put more money in the house). He made NO real attempt to sell the house (holding only 1 open house in 6 months). My second Old Colony experience was with Debi Reynolds (buyers agent). After a horrible non productive 6 months with Hugh, we hired a new agent that had a contract on our house in less than 60 days.......the buyers agent Debi Reynolds did very little communicating with my agent. Our original/initial contract had a closing date that due to the buyers lending issues had to be delayed. My agent was never notified of the delay and until I asked about the closing was not aware of any issues with the Buyer. As the Buyers agent Debi should have made sure that all persons involved were informed in a timely manner of any delays/changes. There seems to be a lackadaisical attitude among Old Colony agents when it comes to certain home sales. Old Colony Agents wanting to make a name for themselves by making the "BIG" sale, while neglecting the smaller home seller/buyer. I wouldn't recommend or use this company again.
