History

Established in 2004.

After spending over 20 years in the entertainment business in Ireland (over 30 years if you include all the musicals, pantomimes and variety shows), Paul Furey set up up this venture in 2004. We are now one of Irelands largest suppliers of top class kids entertainers for your own home or organisation. Both Paul Furey and Niall O'Dwyer are full time experienced and professional kids entertainers. Really Grand Events are fully insured for Public and Employer Liability and are tax compliant.

Meet the Business Owner: Paul F.

My involvement in show business was a Tops of the Town variety Show way back in 1978. Shows in those days were all in black and white with a piano playing, all actors moving around real fast and falling over. A card appeared with words when we had to get words across. Nowadays its world children's entertainers every weekend and bank holiday.. My first kids show was in 1992 and I'm still performing away while running Really Grand Events with my colleague Niall O'Dwyer. Entertaining children and Really Grand Events is my full time professional job and while it's a busy ol' gig - it's also great fun. I have 4 boys and now coach the youngest's soccer team, having coached the other 3 over the years. I am also heavily involved with my kids football club, who have 47 schools teams.
