This agency sucks. Everything they manage is in a dilapidated condition, there are cockroaches present in at least 3 complexes that they manage. They overcharge or sometimes charge you twice for the same service, they never answer the phone or respond to text messages even after Initiating the conversation. They won't respond to a maintenance request until 7 months have passed, then allow their maintenance people to not only enter your apartment without your knowledge, consent or permission, just to hang out for several hours for no reason, only to reveal that the reason was to hide a camera in my shower... yes a camera!!! Even before applying I was very wary about moving forward based on some of the negatives reviews I had read. Communication with staff is ruthless and their team show little to no ethical code when acting on behalf of the company. Discussions regarding the most basic of maintenance items quickly sours and becomes muddled with condescending tone. For both my walk through and my roommates their agent was 20 minutes late to each showing. When moving out during COVID I had to show the apartment to prospective tenants. Anybody that walked into our home was not required to wear masks or show any discretion. I wish anyone the best of the luck should you decide to do business with this company. Reccomending throughly documenting your tenancy to have the best chance at winning in a court. Hopefully your experience differs greatly from mine. read more

The purpose of hiring RPMC was for them to handle the headaches of managing my only house, but they ended up being the biggest headache of all! I was a client and felt the current owner was a narcissistic bully, rude, careless, and did not take accountability at all. To name a few situations - received multiple surprisingly high invoices from minor repairs & clean-up after the tenant left of which any bills over $300 should have been approved first, his handyman vendor mistakenly disposed of my belongings because one of his employees forgot to communicate with them about it, duplicate charge, I kindly asked for explanation & receipts for transparency but his overall responses were I would be charged hourly if more time was spent, even though providing receipts is included in our contract. Rather than apologizing for their mistake, he stated I should let it go & I was billed for the disposal. Most upsetting was receiving a lawsuit from the previous tenant & continuous condescending responses from the owner. Long story, but I believe this suit was a result of a lack of/poor management since I was already frustrated with the owner. He will probably deny this and will somehow find a way to turn it around against and belittle me - again, no accountability. This referral ended up being a nightmare with stress, and sleepless nights. I do NOT recommend anyone to go through the pain I've endured. Run away! read more

Our water heater has been making loud noises at 1:50 am for the last eight days and this wakes us up and I am sure others in this complex because the whole apartment shakes. This ruins our sleep because we are being awakened at 1:50 am for eight straight mornings. I am irritable my wife is irritable. This is totally unacceptable and nothings being done. Do not rent from this place they do not do maintenance on your place. We've been here for years and they fix two minor things. The bathtub is in the worst condition ever it's been like that since we moved in tiles are falling off the owner was here months and months ago and said that all the things needed to be fixed and nothing has been done.Complaint filed with BBB today. read more

Not only are they super unprofessional but they never return your calls or take care of any of your maintenance requests. We had to get out of renting from this company. Upon move out with this company I was charged for items on my deposit that we were not at fault for. I was charged for a non locking sliding glass door that was broken on move in which I put a maintenance request in for. It was also mentioned on the inspection report on move in. Unsure of why I am paying for something that was already broken when I moved in? I went for 4 months with a door that would not lock on the master bedroom and was charged for this on my deposit. Also, I was charged for a closet and shelf breaking, which was not my fault. We were charge the whole amount of the maintenance worker as well as the receipt where he picked up the supplies. When the closet shelf was fixed it was not discussed that we would be responsible for paying for anything. Also, the shelf was not finished by the maintenance worker and we had to finish painting it. Apparently if something breaks in the rental property the tenant is responsible for all of the charges. IF you do rent with them make sure you keep files of everything so that you can fight it. I rented through this company Had no issues for a year, then I came home one night and my window was broken. They told me I had to file with the police even though I wasn't there, then they will send someone to fix it. One month later they finally sent a guy out! Not ok it should've been fixed right away!! I had to board up my own window. Worst customer service!!! Then My Neigbor had water leaking from her ceiling so I came home and same wirh my place, a pipe burst upstairs. All of the tenants called.....4 hours later!!! They sent plumbers THATS allot of water damage. They found underlying mold, that was just built over from the last tenent who has water damage too!! They found asbestos upstairs! They tore out everyone's whole bathroom! And did not tell us anything for a whole week!!!!! Then we were sent a letter, saying we need to leave ASAP (I'll post a picture of it) It said they will help us if we want to continue to rent threw them So I tried and they had the nerve to tell me I don't apply and refused to help me!! Then I found a different place and told them I'm leaving That's when they offered to help laughable I moved out, and turned in the keys like they asked so I can get my deposit back Nothing for 2 weeks so I call Brayden he ignores my call once again and I'm so done I told him if I don't get my deposit back I'm calling my lawyer Then someone else from corazon calls me ans tells me come in and pick up your check The people in the office were super nice Shoutout to Kim!! Do your research and read the reviews. I was overwhelmed with other projects and did not take the time to thoroughly research this company. READ THE REVIEWS. From day one, I felt that this company was out to put any renter in my townhouse that I just renovated. They had someone ready to rent immediately. I was not sent background information, credit check, or references for the renters. Big red flag. RPM Corazon Reno did not notify me of repairs over $300 as the contract states. They are rude, and do not return phone messages. They took no responsibility for poor property management. To top it off, I made it very clear NO PETS and they allowed a cat without notifying me or getting my permission. The cat clawed a brand-new leather sofa. The renters broke the lease and left without leaving a forwarding address. They broke my refrigerator, cabinets, put decals on my freshly painted wall and ceiling. RPM Corazon told me they were going to clean the townhouse and the deck and garage were left filthy. They never fixed the broken cabinet door. RPM had their maintenance people change out my NEST thermostat and never returned it. For some odd reason and again, with no notice, they changed out 2 of 3 smoke alarms and charged me for 3. This was one big nightmare and I would suggest not to do it to yourself. The absolute worst. UpChuck Tony, or whatever name he goes by, was one of the most belligerent, belittling, condescending and arrogant "professionals" I've ever had the displeasure of working with. He screamed at me like I was no one. Big mistake HUGE. Throwing a temper tantrum like a toddler when he's trying to get his way might be intimidating to some but I thought he was in need of a therapist. Medication. Wish I were kidding. Major anger issues. He would send the Sheriff over with an eviction notice if the rent was one day late. He had the sheriffs evict me from my home using an outdated previous eviction notice. Apparently he had his head straight up his ass (appears he still does) and argued with the courts when I filed an unlawful lockout. UpChuck Tony was yelling at the judge and talking over me but I prevailed. People should really know who their renters are....like a family full of attorneys and I learned from them. I can't believe he hasn't had his license taken away! BBB anyone? Truly nauseatingly appalling that he's still scamming people. Now as a homeowner, I wouldn't let him run my property! He clearly is only after collecting rent and not FIXING major issues and then blaming the tenants for it. You'd think with so many negative UCT might want to look at his own actions and company. If one person complains, probably not a big deal. When there's nothing but complaints and comebacks like ".......was evicted for non payment of rent...." After experiencing what unprofessional treatment I went through I would not want anyone experiencing the same thing. First let me say there is one review here that I could have copied and pasted to my review because it was so similar. This company is so unprofessional. It was not until I paid our application fee that I was told there was another applicant before me. I was not able to pay the application fee with my debit card or my credit card. I had to purchase a visa card off the store shelf and then it processed. I was never told that I was denied or approved. However, Teresa was quick to inform me that we needed to pay 3x the deposit amount within 24hrs of approval which would add to $3,150 on a $1,050 apartment. Teresa never called me for feedback I had to reach out to get some answers as to the status of our application multiple times. The apartment was rented out which is fine. I just needed to know. If it's not for me, it's not for me. So, Teresa comes back from leave and quickly sends me a text. Due to you not having the deposit we are cancelling your application. Completely insane. I had inquired about their deposit program and credit rebuilder program, and she assumes we don't have the deposit or money for that matter. I am so glad that things didn't work out for us with this process, thank GOD I am still being protected from the crazies of property management such as this company. It is companies like these that contribute to community breakdown. Here's a note to RPM Corazon: Treat people like there are human beings and with respect. To whomever owns this company I advise you to take a look at your process. Your $$$ it going to save you at the time when you need it most. I have used RPM Corazon as a property manager for over one year. Reading the renter reviews shows how petty people can be. My tenant who recently posted a negative review caused damage to my condo. When asked about the cause they chose to lie about it. If they had been truthful and offered to help with the repair I would have worked with them. Instead they gave me no choice but to withhold my repair cost from their security deposit. Now to get even for their mistakes they lash out with a negative review. If you are considering doing business with RPM Corazon read between the lines on the negative reviews. The staff are highly competent and honest. This company is absolutely appalling. Not only did I consistently fear for my safety and contact Reno PD multiple times with zero help from property management but they also made huge clerical errors that affect my future in renting. Luckily I have all documentation proving they made a mistake and thankfully I have contacted an attorney. This is a warning for all future tenants, especially those of you that may be looking to use this company for your first apartment. If you do use them please keep file of everything and make sure you record all calls or correspondence. I would recommend finding a handy man or someone to help you with anything that may go wrong in the unit. I have multiple records of service requests that never received service. They took over a property I rented for 4 years. When I asked if I needed to look for a new place to rent they said no. 60 days later I was evicted with no cause. I got $90 back from a $725 deposit. Their demeanor was unprofessional, and their properties were no gems either. When we were in their office, a pregnant woman came in who had apparently just visited one of their properties. According to her, it was broken into and vandalized, but they acted like it was no big deal and dismissed her. We were planning to look at 5 properties. We wound up looking at only 2 because of the typos on their paperwork and keys made it so confusing to find the places and one just plain didn't work. One had a broken bathroom mirror and a pigeon infestation. The other one was filled with cigarette smoke, had no A/C in 100+ degree weather, no spyhole in the front door, and unhinged cabinets. I'm not in Real Estate, but I know that some of these are relatively easy to fix. When we went to drop off the keys, the clerk and manager were busy catering to a gaggle of sorority girls. The clerk would answer the phone, talk, hang up, and go back to the girls. I just wanted to turn in their borrowed keys but I was rudely told to wait. We were going to look at more properties tomorrow, but not after this huge waste of time. read more

When we put in are 30 days notice they tried to put a different date than the date we put. The ladies in the office were always rude when I would call them or go to the office. I have been trying to contact the leasing agent, tony, for days now. I was told yesterday that I would for sure get a call between 10 am and 4 pm. I called them at 3:40 today and I spoke to the operator who said that their leasing agent had left for the day. 1. Why would he have left before closing and 2. Why did I not get a call like I was told I would. They are closed tomorrow for Easter so now I have to wait until Monday to get in contact with them. This is not okay. This house will go fast and I would have put a deposit down today if I could. The operator then told me that I actually had to go into the office to talk to them instead of calling, which I was not told before or else I would have gone in today. The professionalism of this business and the communication from its employees are less than par and that is not okay, especially for property management. She was very sweet and polite and insisted on us looking at the studio so we did, and it was VERY clean! We did the application process and are really hoping to get it!!! We have just recently purchased a home under the guidance of Tony as our realtor. I have to say that I'm pretty shocked at the previous comments below. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Tony. And anytime that I've had to go into their office, it's been very quick service and the staff have always been helpful. Tony was available for the inspection of the house, meetings with loan officers and signing at the title office. Anytime I have emailed him, he was always prompt with his response. He's very educated on laws and the entire process in regards to everything real estate. He was very professional with all the vendors that he worked with (inspectors, loans officer). I would recommend him to any of my friends and family. He made the experience of buying a home (usually a very stressful situation) go very smoothly. read more

Samantha the front desk woman greeted me with a smile and was very helpful with my home searching. I looked at three homes and each time I asked for the keys to a house and each time I had any questions, Samantha was always quick to answer. Teresa the leasing manager was also extremely helpful with me before and during the leasing process. We communicated extremely well and she answered all questions and concerns with ease. This is by far the most unprofessional company that I have ever dealt with. The office staff is very rude as stated by others who have left reviews. After repeatedly attempting to make phone calls to resolve multiple issues I was told to send emails for a better response. However, emails also went unanswered. It seems that no one in the office is responsible for keeping track of when things happen, so make sure if you are renting through them that you keep very good documentation to include dates, pictures, and always have the office stamp and sign any paperwork you turn in (keep a copy in a safe place for future use because chances are you will need it). If for any reason you have to go to court, this will serve you well. I can also attest that they kept my portion of the deposit which the judge did say under the circumstances Corazon would not be able to charge me any fees. Yet, my request for a refund of my portion of the deposit was at first met with excuses that they didn't have proof of who paid the deposit (myself or my roommate) and then they just stopped responding to me which included Tony blocking me from texting him. I was only requesting my half of the deposit to be refunded. This would be the first time that I did not have my deposit returned to me in full. If you read through the reviews, especially those who have responses from the company, you'll have a good understanding of what it is like to work with this company. It is my belief that a company who responds back defensively knows there is a problem, but either doesn't care enough to change or has no idea how to make changes. However, if changes are not made, this is a company that I would advise renters to steer away from. read more

So we never went down there to pay $100. to pick up a gate key. Oh, yeah, you have to take yourself to the property after paying $20 for a key and $100 if it is a gated community. I hate writing bad reviews because I feel like I'm nagging, but I feel it's fair especially when problems are not resolved in a timely manner or at least being kept in the loop as to when they'll be resolved. I recently went through Corazon realty to find my new home. Let me start off by saying that the house is beautiful and I love it! This has nothing to do with the office though. So I found the house online through zillow or similar. The listing was VERY vague and it only had one picture of the outside of the house! Still, I liked the area it was in and immediately called. When I went in to pick up the keys, I was informed that someone had already picked them up and went to the house. They said I could go look at the house with the other person there. When I got to the house I fell in love! The other person said she didn't like it... Score! The thing that upset me about this encounter was the fact that this woman was clearly very pregnant. I offered to take the key back for her, but she said they told her that she had to wait for me to leave then return it. Who knows how long she had been waiting, I felt terrible! I just don't like how they treated her. Not cool. Anyway skip to the day of the signing: I had a SET appointment for 2 pm to sit with the realtor and sign for the keys. I was handed paperwork and was expected to sign everything without explanation. We waited for 30 mins after signing all of the paperwork by ourselves for the realtor to sign. Again, poor customer service. Some things I feel should be included. Ummmmm how about the fact that a newer home doesn't have air conditioning?!?! There's vents just no AC. The dishwasher doesn't work and I've asked that maintenance come by and pressure wash the patio because it's covered in dirt and it's also suffocating the grass and killing it. Oh and there's no green garbage can. I certainly pay for trash removal! This: bad advertising. From the other reviews they seem notorious for it. I've now called twice about resolving issues I have. Each time the girl on the other end was short answered and rude. She even hung up on me without saying bye. Again... Bad customer service. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. All the reviews on here are spot on. The staff is rude, they will not admit if they made a mistake. Requesting a maintenance call was ridiculously time consuming. But the worst for me was when I moved out I made sure the place was even cleaner than when I left and they still kept more than 200.00 from my deposit without specifying what the charges were for. Every other place I've rented for gave me 100% of it back. Never again will I set foot in this place and would highly advise anyone to stay away at all costs. Seriously!
