Good Morning after…read morebeing let go from my previous employer after 8 years, I was left wondering what next - and while the world was in the middle of a global pandemic it was a difficult decision to make while locked up in the house Reassessing , I made the choice to learn a new career. the programs at Peloton College offered choice in careers that will give me an edge to maintaining employment and at any part of the country should I need to in any situation . Medical Billing and Coding was my choice , and I was determined to attain to the best of my ability the course program and achieve a new successful career not only was it a challenge to go back to school but to also overcome the fear after not being in school since high school graduation 1989. and at being an older adult I was second guessing my own abilities. from administrators to the faculty, I never had a second thought about the quality of training and empathy I was getting from Peloton College and also the fact that the curriculum was based in a classroom , and having to attend the classes 90% in a online format due to the pandemic made it more challenging to complete, but my instructor gave me the curriculum in a matter that I could understood and surpass my expectation of what I could achieve myself. Ms. Diana Bowie not only made it understandable but also made the complexity of Medical Billing And Coding easy to grasp and learn. Peloton College's determination to provide students the tools to succeed in new careers is fully demonstrated. The wait was longer than intended as they told me they were waiting on towels to dry. They hadn't been open that long yet so idk how they ran out but, okay. While the gentleman who did my hair was nice, he made me veryyy nervous. He kept talking about how they didn't teach him anything at his last school and would say oops when cutting... **To ALL hairstylist in school or not please don't ever say oops** Thats the last thing anyone wants to hear while they're in the chair. He also asked the teacher before making any move on my head (literally just a straight across cut and side swoop bang) which I appreciate so he didn't mess up but it as often as it happened it made me feel like he didnt know what he was doing at all. And when she would come and tell him what to do he'd have to ask me what she said because he forgot already...yeah Now the hair cut itself came out pretty decent for $8.50 only one strand ended up longer than the rest I noticed when I left, and it was only a bit choppy. But also check your receipt before paying as they had charged me almost double but fixed it when I said something. Also be prepared to be there for a while my very simple hair cut took about 2 hours total with a wash and cut..and price did include a dry but it would've been closer to 3 hours if I had waited, NOT TO MENTION my hair was practically dry by the time he finished as never sprayed it with a water bottle so half was cut wet and the other dry.

The dish was gonna take 85 minutes to bake so I wasn't gonna be able to make the morning hair clinic. I called again at 3 PM and found out they start taking clients at 5:30 PM. Mrs. Freddie is the evening teacher and she is a no nonsense person. I like that. She even recommended that I stop using Paul Mitchell's Shampoo One and switch to Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi. I bought some at Sally's Beauty Supply today. I have the utmost respect for her because she is a professional. She recommends and she speaks and carries herself in a professional, non ghetto manner. She is a breath of fresh air! She checks the students work as they progress.
