I lived at this complex from December 2017 until June 2024. For many years things were manageable,…read morebut my final year was one of the most stressful and disturbing experiences of my life. In December 2023, I discovered a rat inside my apartment. When I reported it, Andrea R. dismissed my concern, telling me that "every building has them" and that it was probably a mouse. Despite my reports, photos, and visible evidence, management repeatedly minimized the situation. I emptied all my food cabinets, yet the animal continued to cause extensive damage: chewing my shoes, cabinets, electrical cables, and leaving feces throughout the apartment, including inside my son's bed. I provided management with photos of the feces, damaged belongings, and affected areas. Even then, I was told that pest control believed it "could have been a squirrel," which was alarming and felt completely dismissive. Out of fear for my son's health and safety--due to well-known diseases associated with rodents such as Rat-Bite Fever, Leptospirosis, Salmonellosis, Hantavirus, and LCMV--my son had to move in with his father. No parent should have to make that decision because management refuses to act responsibly. Pest control continued placing mouse traps, which were clearly ineffective. I personally purchased rat traps from Home Depot, and my son's father also tried additional traps, all without success. A full month passed while I lived in fear. I was so afraid to sleep in my apartment that I discarded my son's bed and my own bed. I repeatedly asked Nicole in tears, to let me temporarily sleep in an empty unit across from mine (Unit 106W) or any vacant unit, just for safety. Her response was: *"I feel for you, but there is nothing I can do." I also told her that I have seen reviews of people posting that they had issues with mice, and she said" Nobody believes those reviews, I relly do not care". With no family in Rhode Island, I spent weeks sleeping at my son's father's house, staying in hotels, asking friends to let me sleep over, and on some nights, even sleeping in the complex lounge after it locked at 11:00 PM because it felt safer than my apartment. This experience severely affected my mental health, finances, and work performance. I am a teacher, and the stress became so visible that my school administration noticed a decline in my concentration and well-being. On February 11, 2024, I finally found the rat dead in a trap. That day was genuinely one of the happiest days of my year because the constant fear finally lifted. However, by then, the damage was done--financially, emotionally, and physically. I had to replace **beds, shoes, electronics, and personal belongings, and endured months of anxiety and instability. Instead of taking responsibility, management later denied my lease renewal, claiming my apartment was "cluttered" and suggesting that I somehow caused the infestation. This was deeply insulting and felt like an attempt to shift blame rather than acknowledge the structural issues, including holes and access points near my unit, that allowed a rodent to enter. I have photos documenting everything, and there is no inaccuracy in this review. I would never wish a similar experience on anyone. Management had multiple opportunities to help--by temporarily relocating me or taking decisive action--and chose not to. I strongly caution anyone considering living here to think carefully about how serious maintenance and safety issues are handled.

I am a current resident, I have not been able to get a nights sleep since moving in. I can hear…read moreevery word my upstairs neighbors say every cough and any other activities they are performing they are up all night and this has been going on since I move in. I have asked to move to a different apartment at my own cost and was told I would have to pay a transfer fee as well. All they do is want you to try and record the other residents and even when supplied those recording they want you to keep doing it with no resolution. Again I only asked to switch to a new apartment and have got no help. If you value sleep and privacy do not live here
