Despite having been supposedly "professionally cleaned" my apartment needed washing from top to bottom. Requested repairs were never made in the year I lived there (sometimes even after he promised me they would be done!), and despite the fact that my apartment was far cleaner when I left it than when I arrived, I still did not receive any refund on my deposit.
