From the moment I engaged with Jason it was clear he'd be getting our business. Unlike the other potential bidders--some of whom never even called us back--he came out right away to do a thorough inspection, including explanatory photos from deep inside our creepy under-house crawl space. Unlike the other contractors, he treated me (woman in her 70s) with respect and courtesy (the other contractor who came out to bid would speak only to my husband--despite both of having made it clear that I was the project manager. Yeah, no, I don't have time for that crap). Jason Thomas has high standards. He honored his estimated start date, responded to every call or text within an hour, kept me informed at each step of the job; sent daily summary texts, photos and/or videos of their work; coordinated all subcontractors; consulted me with options and their costs at every design decision point; ensured the job site was kept clean and the house secured every night; and was polite and courteous at all times.
