We had them remodel our lake house, it turned out better than expected! The bidding process was…read morevery thorough and the guys that did the work paid attention to detail. We've already recommended them to our neighbors!

I hired this company to replace my carpet in my bedrooms and vinyl floors in my living area. Right…read moreat a year or maybe a little past I had an issue with the carpet in my son's room. Also the transition strip was loose ( they installed the transition strip with liquid nails). I called for help with these problems and after about a month I was told the carpet manufacturer would cover the carpet but not the labor. Furthermore I was told that this is a small company and they "cannot afford to give away the house". They gave me the number to Falcon flooring to inquire about the labor. After speaking with Falcon, I found out that the labor was $144.00 and that Your life design was not interested in paying nor did they even ask for the price! Also, the carpet installers here at Your life design were not certified to install the carpet by the manufacturer!! Fortunately, Falcon is stepping up to pay for the labor for the carpet replacement and even offered to help me with the transition strips. As for your life design, I was told that they were going to look into the transition strip, but I have little confidence that anything will be done. So after all the preaching of quality and customer satisfaction, if there is a warranty issue be sure to read this contract cause they will not go beyond the contract to help and will have no problem with sending you a pic of the contract to illustrate this point cause apparently $144.00 will break the bank to help out a customer. Note that though you pay them, they are quick to say it's someone else's problem and stat that they made no money on my project. I will say that they are all very polite but have a long way to go when it comes to taking care of their customers if a problem arises later on. One last thing, after all this, they then asked about my next project! I'm sorry but I cannot do business with a company that is not willing to assist with the job once a problem occurs in such a short timeframe after install. Had I not had this problem that gave me this insight to this particular type of situation, I more likely would have rated them much higher out of ignorance. Please beware and I hope this helps someone else to avoid this issue or that it will open up this company's perspective to consider that sometimes you should assist customers outside of your contract cause it's the right thing to do...

I thought these people would be great people to have taking care of our…read more rental situation and that they would be there to help families if anything needed fixing or if you couldn't get with the real owner in an emergency. I thought they were nice and caring about people who looked to them for help finding them a nice, clean, friendly area, and get us in and settled in happy to have their help! This was all nothing more than an act they made us believe! They began by not letting the owner know about our family pet that is a support dog for my nephew who has social anxiety very very badly. Leaving us no chose but to leave her with a babysitter until they got her approved. She is a half-pit half we don't know for sure but not full-blooded and is as nice as ever. While they were trying to approve her we saw the neighbor walk a very pretty very friendly very noticeable full blue nose pit for a walk and thought good they will get her approved and she can come home. So we called to see if they could tell us anything and they said our dog hadn't been approved because she was half-pit. this upset us and we told them that that was wrong when they had approved another pit. they actually said that the dog we were talking about was not a pit but a full-blood King Corso. For 1. you can look at him and know better he is not anywhere close to the size of a King Corso. For 2 everyone no that KIng Corsos are much bigger and meaner being able to eat a kid, this is because it is a pit on steroids. so yeah but during all that We were also left with no stove to cook for our child for 2 weeks when all the new stove needed was a cord. A cord! The appliances were supposed to all be new in the "remodel" I am saying the word "REMODEL" very lightly because they call new appliances and paint covering everything including the bathtub and walls around it was not even cleaned before it was painted making the heat from the shower allow it to raise off the surface of it and start pilling off you could not use cleaning stuff or it would only get worse and the pou under the paint would then be showing for everyone who may visit to see your walls look like you never cleaned and wiped your hind in on the wall. If it had been cleaned and painted correctly this would not have ever happened. Yet they refused to send anyone to fix it so that pou paint didn't drop into the tub that we used to get clean making it no longer a clean shower. They told us we would have a laundry room for our laundrywhen I ask about it they said it would not be able to be used until it was remodeled and the new washers and driers had been bought and put in and that wouldn't be until the room was done. I offered to allow everyone to use my big boys if we were allowed to hook them up until then so people didn't have to wait so long to do laundry if they worked and only had time to go to a laundromat once a week or however long. Again another no. My dishwasher was support to be new never went through one full cycle. I was told I could do a small garden in the backyard and have planted out in front of apartment as long as they were not in the walkway. Now they are mad that I started getting upset with the situation and the contractor who would cause us to have problems for fun and began to complain about things after 8 months of living in a place that is not at all what we were told we were getting. I was told I was asking for too much when I called about a leak, I lost my job because my boss thought I lied to her about them coming to my apartment to fix something when she popped in and saw they weren't there and the dishwasher wasn't fixed. because they never showed up that day or two days following it after sending a text saying they would be there that day. They got mad because I told them that they needed to stop blaming me for things that were being done that weren't us at all. and then ask me why I didn't just move out and go elsewhere so they didn't have to deal with me. Tonight they came to the apartment did not knock just taped a letter to the door telling me if my stuff was not removed from the yard area and the hallway where I was told I could put things if not blocking walkway that they would be by tomorrow to remove them themselves after they throw the stuff that I had out there making the place look like people that lived here now cared about what it looked like making sure you wouldn't find needles laying around everywhere like you could before, making it look like a family kind of place not a crack stop along the way through town like it looked just a year or so ago. The lease doesn't say anything about not having yard ornaments so they touch my grandma's things again ill have to call the cops. I do not recommend using these people who care about the money they receive and nothing of how you and your family are in the home they get you into. Having a real landlord you can talk to and who cares is much better. Laclede property management is not it.

Where do I even start? This place I thought was so nice and the people were sooo nice. WRONG. they…read moregave me and my boyfriend false promises. Not to mention, WE HAVE A NEW BABY!!! How are you going to give a new family false hope, knowing when it came down to us being fed up with the lies... we are stuck here paying the rest of the year out while also trying to save money to get out of the horrible place! So much was wrong with our unit when we moved in that we didn't notice until after we signed the lease. Our hot water heater was sooo old it wouldn't work so we had to ask for another then our floor started dipping and breaking. There are holes everywhere that were painted over! Even the electrical box was painted over and tape! The bathtub/shower had to get sealed 3 times! There were roaches everywhere, and it said "newly renovated," but someone just slapped some paint on everything and called it good. Never trust pictures! All this company and the owners care about is your money. Not your family or issues you're having. We were promised so many things and never received anything! Dilworth apartments is awful, and so are the people living there! Our apartment constantly smells like cat piss because of the people under us and our sons room constantly smells like weed and cigarettes! This place is so shitty. We pay 730 a month for this. Classy! These pictures don't even include the nasty ass bathroom! This is just 1% of how gross this place is! Stay away honestly because they will rope you in like everyone else and you will have no way out!
