I couldn't have made a worse decision. My realtor behaved like we were close friends, offered to bring me specialty coffee, etc. Then she sold my house, gave me a move-out date, but changed it to almost a week SOONER and I wasn't packed yet! She claimed the movers would pack EVERYTHING I couldn't get to. But they didn't! They missed ALL of my floral supplies and a huge cupboard in the kitchen with all my treasured recipes. There's no recourse, all of my livelihood, by doing weddings out of my home, is GONE! ReMax doesn't return calls, has no excuse and offers no compensation for my horrible loss! AVOID AVOID AVOID! They are like a bad case of PLAGUE!! HORRIFIC realtors, who hire ATROCIOUS movers who break things, leave important things behind, then blame the person who pays them. Realtor said to "expect to pay $500 to move 18 miles" - all boxes, no furniture except the bed. The charge was closer to $1,000 and my loss of goods is close to $5,000!! If you have another choice, do NOT use ReMax!! They will bulldoze you like you can't even BEGIN to realize!! Then they'll walk away, patting themselves on the back for another good payday. WRETCHED EXPERIENCE!!! PLEASE DON'T LET THEM HARM YOU THE WAY THEY HARMED ME!!!

She did find a buyer, promised I didn't have to move until I found an adequate place to move to! But she moved the move-out date nearly a week earlier than was first given to me. I told her I was having to do all the packing myself with no help and moving that much earlier gave me insufficient time to completely pack. She PROMISED me the movers would pack what I hadn't had a chance to get to yet. They packed some, but left behind nearly $10,000 worth of my belongings. Re/Max wouldn't return my calls, Marylee Williams wouldn't return my calls. They got their payday and that was ALL they cared about. I was traumatized by being shoved out of my home before I was completely packed and ready to go, the loss of my personal belongings absolutely DEVASTATED me! The owner of the moving company that Ms Williams hired, blamed ME! Ms Willimas told me to expect to pay $500 to move 18 miles. The movers charged almost $1,000. Please PLEASE don't trust Marylee Williams or Re/Max if you are buying or selling property! They are only looking for a fat payday, and don't GIVE a rip about their clients, even they they put on a great act, by bringing you specialty coffee, etc.! It's all a SICK plan to get money from you! I've been downsized and moved now into a tiny single-wide that has had a clogged kitchen drain since I moved in 4 months ago. And the price of plumbing to UNCLOG it is beyond my ability to pay because the whole undercarriage of the sing has to be removed and re-plumbed. I've been lied to, cheated and now I live without being able to cook because I can't wash dishes or really use anything except the microwave. The previous owner HAD to know the sink was hopelessly clogged, but left it that way. NEVER trust MARYLEE WILLIAMS or Re/Max if you need to buy or sell a home or business! They will stab you in the back while they pat theirs for getting more money from another person who trusted them!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!

To help in this effort from afar, I have been working with a wonderful realtor with ReMax realty out of Medford, OR. Last night, I noticed a listing online that might work for me. Such listings are few and far between. The listing agent shown was Heather Yriarte also with ReMax Realty but in Grants Pass. I called her this morning to find out some preliminary info about the property. I wanted to see if it might work for me before asking my realtor to drive from Medford to Grants Pass . I had just a few simple questions about the well (she said it was great in the ad) and whether or not there was room to access and park a large motorhome on the property ( she said there was RV parking in the ad but that could mean something small like a boat). Every single listing agent I have ever called before has been quite helpful, understanding that I could not personally see the property. After all, aren't they trying to get the house sold? Not so with Heather. She was quite reluctant to discuss anything about the property and once she learned I had a realtor, she essentially said that I should send my realtor out to see it and have her figure it out. I told her that I only needed answers to a couple of screening questions and have never had listing agent refuse to help. She hung up on me!!! I absolutely could not believe it!!! Does she think unless she is both buyer's and seller's agent, her only role as listing agent is to place the ad? With answers to a couple of simple questions, she quite possibly could have sold this property for cash. I have let my realtor know what happened and that we will not be pursuing this property after all. I am very upset. I wonder if her clients are aware of how she treats potential buyers? That no longer includes me, that's for sure. Unbelievable.
