Wee Toast Tours is a cycle tour through the streets of Belfast, only you're not doing the steering! It's a portable bar, whereby a waiter is serving you drinks and all you have to do is keep peddling! (Clearly the driver provided is not drinking and is doing the hard work- the driving!) The bike holds up to 15 people and needs at least 8 for the peddle power. The tours last one hour or 2 hours, costing £12 per hour for a single seat. You can bring your own drink and own music and off you go! I have to say it was so so funny- and the looks we were getting were priceless! She had quite an accent but was very knowledgeable and informative of the Game of Thrones tour sites. My family and I enjoyed the tour very much. We especially enjoyed the comedy she threw in, the behind the scenes perspective of being an extra on the famous HBO GOT series, and the fun facts of Belfast. So much history and beautiful sights all along the Antrim Harbor. We even got to see "The Wall" from the filming for The Knight's Watch scenes. We didn't get to stop but it was cool to just see it in real life. If you're quick with the camera, you can take a photo from the tour bus. She also has the directions on how to get to the spots along the way should you want to return on your own time. That's super helpful. The breath taking views of the Giants Causeway and the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge was the highlight of the tour. And the best for last, seeing the Dark Hedges in person was surreal. I totally recommend this tour, it's practically all day 8:45am-6:30pm. The coach bus was comfortable, clean, and the driver was very good. The guide even showed scenes from the series before we made the stops so we know what we're about to see. At one point, we even took turns dressing up as the characters. Note: this is a self guided tour, where the guide/driver will drop you off at each site and allow you to explore to take a quick photo. Stephen our driver/guide provided good insights about the history of Northern Ireland and about each site we were visiting. Most of the sites visited are quick photo opportunities, which means that you only have about 20 minutes before you need to get back on the bus to get to the next destination. The site with the longest visit was the Giants Causeway where we had about 1.5 hours to explore. The 20 minutes at each site does go by very quickly, so make sure to be aware of the time as the bus will leave to keep within schedule. Tip: Sit closer to the front of the bus to get off first and take photos at each site without people in your shot (unless another tour bus was already there).

Highlights: + Current pick up was right across from the City Hall (Donegall Square West Departure Point) + £18.00 for a day pass- a really good budget friendly option. +/- The back of the bus on the top level is open air, which on nice weather days is great, but on not so great days, there is a portion of the bus covered on the top deck, as well as the main level is similar to a normal bus. The main deck allows for those with mobility issue to enjoy as well, as getting to the upper level mean traversing some stairs + The full loop consists of 19 stops and was about 1 hour and 10 minutes (+/-) due to traffic +The live commentary, while a canned script the delivery of the punch lines made it entertaining. Tips: * If you need to use the restrooms prior to the start loop, go into the City Hall for free toilets and to admire the glass panels and mini exhibit inside. * At the time of visit(early July '22) - there was construction at stop 14 - The Peace Wall, so you had to get off a stop early and walk to visit if you choose to do so. * You can pre-purchase tickets via their website; however, if you are unsure of the weather, you can hold off and purchase onsite using a credit card.

Cost was £10 per person and ticket booking via Belfast Art Tours website. Pickup was 6pm in the City Centre and over the course of three hours we visited a range of galleries including: Golden Thread The Bath House ArtisAnn EastSide Gallery (EastSide Visitor Centre) Whalley Gallery Framewerk Artcetera There were refreshments galore at each stop, including wine and beer, all of which were free. A few smaller galleries had tip-bowls so you could throw in a couple of pounds to contribute to the cost of your drink. Our tour guide Rhonda was wonderful, telling us all about the galleries, artists and exhibitions and ensuring we knew exactly how much time we had to spend at each place. Late Night Art occurs on the first Thursday of each month, during which galleries, studios and art spaces open their doors to welcome in the public. Although Belfast has a lively art scene, it can be intimidating visiting galleries, so a bus tour is a fantastic idea. The beauty of it being that you can do this tour numerous times and it'll never become stale, because there are so many galleries in Belfast and different exhibitions each month. A brilliant tour, which I recommend everyone should try and I'm looking forward to attending a few more.

It's quite noisy, and the food isn't cheap- you might want to bring your own snacks. But all in all, it was not bad. We didn't have a car- were dropped off by bus and picked up by bus- so I can't speak to that. The luggage arrived pretty fast- so that was nice. The kids liked the video games and the movies.
