Immediately after I reached out to Maura, she got back to me and set up a meeting with the school's director and owner, Chris. We went over how the school works and the general process and then Chris set me up with my instructor, Rick Inzerillo, who did a fantastic job teaching me to fly. He's a former airline pilot who's enthusiastic and knowledgeable not only about aviation, but teaching aviation as well. I could not be happier with my experience with him and I highly recommend asking for him as your instructor. Rick, if you read this, thank you! The atmosphere was friendly and other instructors went out of their way to answer any questions I had if Rick wasn't there (Special thanks to Brad, Zach and Chris). The planes were all well maintained and if anything went wrong, quick to be fixed and put back on the flight line. Finally, after I'd gotten my certificate, I was able to rent the planes for my own use. If I had to make the choice again, I would do it with Hewison in a heartbeat!
