Don't go into this store unless you're prepared to rummage. If there's any logic to the way the clothes are arranged then I've never worked it out, the only way to find anything is to dive in and rummage. You'll find a mixture of cheap clothes that look cheap and rather gorgeous designerwear that's been heavily discounted. Apart from clothing and accessories they also sell toys, toiletries and giftsets. Although this is a big shop it's the smallest TK Maxx I've been in, just one floor and no housewares, cookware, linens or curtains.

They do have a great selection of bags, and also shoes if you go at non-peak hours early in the week. Most recently, I found a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes for just £35, which is less than a third of the price! If you want amazing designer bargains, then TK Maxx is definitley the place to come, but you have to have patience and perseverance. Like I said, the Ealing Branch is really small and even more messy than most. Some days, especially later on in the weekends, they have literally nothing- you will be greeted with rows upon rows of empty shoe racks- and recently it has definitley gone a bit downhill recently as it's started to look even more bare than usual. However, I know that when I'm in Ealing Broadway I will go here without fail, as sometimes there's an amazing deal just waiting to be found.

They, however gave me £1 change for the difference, breaking their rule of giving back money and only offering credit notes. After one day the zip was breaking apart and the strap i discover could not take much weight at all! I went back to exchange for another since they don't give refunds. I was treated nice at first, but when i changed my mind a few times, I definitely felt unwelcome. All in all, i ended up with a £1 credit note i didn't want and when i said that i received £1 back the last time, they dismissed it and said it was a once off. Adding that they rarely give money back and that it was up to the manager. A policy is a policy it shouldn't change!!! Another assistant coldly stated how she didn't get money back at another shop and that most shops do that! But do most shops change their policy, one day and not the next? I think not. I also felt their pricing is intentionally done so you never get a complete exchange, be it £1, £5, £10 or more. I left with disappointment over a product that was poorly made and a credit voucher of £1 which i'm not going to use as this experience completely put me off. It was the way i was treated and no customer should ever have to feel bad when they exit a shop.
