I don't like their sales tactics, for example, if you don't have a membership they have the single wash options listed but the cheapest one is in super small print at the bottom of the screen corner so you don't see it. Even then, their cheapest wash is still like $13 which is kind of crazy. I was paying $8 for a wash at my old place. Secondly, you have someone at the beginning of the wash standing there with a hose to spray your car down and they literally barely splash your car with some water... I don't even see the point of someone being there. At my old car wash they actually sprayed and scrubbed the front bumper a bit as you entered the wash.. and they didn't look so miserable to be there either. I've also held different priced memberships from this place and ultimately can't really tell a difference in the outcome for each of them. With some costing more than others, I'd expect to be able to really see the difference in how my car looks after when I had the most expensive membership, but it seems similar to their cheaper options. Even with the most expensive one my car still came out with some bird poop/bugs stuck to the front each time. Their staff helping at the kiosks are always nice though.

Great pressure for wash/rinse. Overall, I think it's a decent value and you get to be in charge of how clean your vehicle is. My only recommendations are: 1) Let us know how much time each of the options on the Credit Card machine relate to. I've kinda figured it out, but I haven't seen any pricing details...so kinda a hit or miss for choosing the right time option. 2) Would be nice to have EXIT ONLY signs on the side of the bays looking at the alley. I've had a couple people try to sneak in when there were people waiting who entered via Garnet. 3) I think over time, the hose lengths for the main sprayer/Brush have reduced a bit (maybe as they fix issues). With a full sized car, it's getting tight to get around the car to all the nooks and crannies. So maybe get some longer hoses...and NGL, I hate the coiled up hose...thankfully I only need it for my wife's car that comes in once a month. But overall, much better than other self serve washes I've visited throughout SD/OC.

They are unbelievably accommodating, even during times when I am on a strict time crunch and need my car finished by a specific time. They always make it happen without cutting corners. The wait is also a breeze. They have a comfortable lounge area to relax in, and if you get hungry, there is a great taco shop within walking distance. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Dishonest, aggressive tactics. Won't be back…read more Been a regular here for years, and it feels like every visit I have to catch them trying to overcharge or upsell something unnecessary. Today was the last straw. Came in for the $49.99 bucket wash, got quoted $59.99 -- turns out they tried charging my sedan at SUV pricing. When I called it out, instead of correcting it, the guy pivoted to pitching a wax coating add-on. Then came the mat upsell -- pushed hard on paying extra to "wash" my mats, when vacuuming already comes standard and is all silicone mats actually need. I shouldn't have to fight for a fair price every single time I come in. Between the constant upcharges and deflection tactics, it's clear this is standard practice here, not a one-off mistake. My car's parked outside 24/7 and has some wear from sun and weather, but somehow Dr. Detail still managed to make it shine like new. I was seriously impressed. He was also super friendly, figured out a smart way to park on the street since we don't have a driveway, and was really considerate with the neighbors, he even made sure not to block trash cans.
