Terrible!!! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at…read morePups of War. This was the third time we tried to visit, and every single time there has been an excuse why my kids couldn't play. We've been told it's full, that there aren't enough kids, or that they could only play for 30 minutes. This time, I called ahead to make sure there was space before driving over. The person I spoke with told me they were open and had plenty of room. I explained that we would arrive in about 30 minutes. He said there was a birthday party starting at 4:00 PM, so my three boys would have 30 minutes to play freely before it got busy, and that they would be fine. When we arrived, we were immediately told they were closed for a party. I explained that I had just called and been told otherwise. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the staff became hostile and accused me of lying, saying, "We don't even have a phone. We haven't had one for months." That's impossible because I called the phone number listed on their Google Business page. Rather than apologizing or trying to figure out what happened, they told us to leave and refused to let my kids play. The customer service was completely unacceptable. Lucas, Jason, and the manager (who refused to give me their name) handled the situation very poorly. Even if there had been a misunderstanding, there was no reason to treat a customer that way. We left and went to Space Room instead, and it turned out to be the best decision. The staff there were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our kids had an amazing time, and the experience was everything we had hoped for. I will never return to Pups of War, and I cannot recommend it based on how we were treated. Save yourself the wasted trip and go somewhere that values its customers.

We always pass by My Slime Playroom whenever we go to Ka'Makana and were always curious about…read morewhat's going on inside. So, I checked it out with my daughter today and we had a great time. There wasn't a wait for us when we went. The worker was an Aunty who was so friendly and helpful. She showed us the different slime options we could choose. She also constantly sanitized the tables and went around to check in and help if needed. The place was very organized and clean. The overall process is that you select the slime you want, choose your charms, and then make your slime by following the instruction on the table. You can choose your own color and scent to follow. It is a bit pricy, but I didn't mind it as we really did have a great experience. My daughter really enjoyed herself here, and that's always a win in my book.

Mililani Rec 6 always does a great job with their annual Easter egg hunt…read more The field is loaded with plastic eggs with all sorts of goodies parents love to give their children, haha They allow 5 and under a small head start, but once the big kids are let loose the eggs flyyyyyy. Haha literally, it seems like a TON of eggs, but within a minute or two, the eggs are gone. All the kids also get an Easter goodie bag after the egg hunt. Then it's into the hall where there is an Easter Bunny for pictures, around 5 vendors with games and prizes, and a popcorn machine to top it offf. This year they also gave a Spaghetti Factory coupon for a free kids meal. We have come to this for the last few years and son son always loves it. The staff and everyone involved are all so friendly. Unfortunately for the masses, this is for Mililani town association members only. You also have to register a week prior to the event and slots go quick. Thank you Mililani Town Association and Rec 6 for putting on this event.

Unless they fix the darn A/C, this place simply isn't suitable for family fun activities. The…read moreentire facility is way too hot to bowl--period! I heard from employees that, due to a lack of funding, the A/C issue is likely to remain unresolved. The whole "joint base" concept really sucks. Putting Air Force base management under the Navy is, in my opinion, a bad idea. The two should be managed independently of each other, just like the good old days. With all that said, this place is not going to attract customers who are willing to pay big bucks to bowl there. Seriously, it's not cheap! As for me, I have no plans to return until the cooling problem is finally resolved. Fix the A/C first, and then I will be more inclined to consider to go back there again.

Updating my review now that I can confirm that the girl conductor who USED to work here is gone…read more Now reviewing with the current guy conductor and he is EXCELLENT. Located here at Ka Makana is a little train ride that goes through out the mall. With about 5 little cabins for you and your kiddies to ride and a good amount of time to enjoy. Its $5 per adult and $5 per child. Children must be 36" or taller to ride alone. Hours of operation is Monday-Saturday 10a-6p and Sunday 12p-6p. Operations also depend on weather as this is an outdoor mall. Although its $5 per ride for my son it's worth it as he loves it all the time. The conductor now is ALWAYS interactive with kids and has a great personality. It's because of him we love coming back.

Or even the other way around. Since it's a kids ride, can even charge $10 per kid and $5 for adult since the adult is there only for comfort and supervision. Also, the last red cart needs to be more secured and not loose to prevent Accelerating jerking... the jerking during stopping and acceleration makes the kids scared because it's too snappy. I think if it's tight, the red cart will move as one and more smooth for the kids.

I attended a birthday pool party at night so all I can remember is the rectangular shape of it. The temperature control is a great enhancement! Location: Situated near Hanalani school. Nice size lot with an abundance of open stalls. Some stalls are not meant to be reversed in, there's a sign. Few vending machines for snacks and drinks. Lifeguard checks the chlorine level every so often. Pool toys seem to be allowed. I brought my sons pool rings and the lifeguard didn't say anything. Great pool overall. I'd come back on days I wouldn't want to risk the chance of swimming in an over crowded pool at the other recreation centers in the vicinity. Why I subtracted a star: Floaties aren't allowed. Including infant ones.. Lifeguard didn't even notice we were blowing it up because he was doing his job by watching those in the pool. I didn't see a sign either. A lady who clearly works at the rec center walked right past us and could have told me straight up. I won't bite.. But instead she told him and then the messenger came to us lol.
