We came to Briheuga for the day to experience the lavender fields and enjoy whatever this quaint town had to offer. We decided we had to eat but where? That's when we found this place.
What drew us to this restaurant was the outdoor seating in the park accompanied by live music. The atmosphere was booming with energy, yet we could not partake; the reason why not, we had to have reservations to sit outside. However, they were glad to sit us inside. Once inside, it was very noticeable that, like most Spanish restaurants, this place also did not believe in AC. That was ok for now since it was exceptionally mild outside.
The staff and food were amazing! Although our waitress didn't speak any English, we got through it with her ability to understand some English and my broken Spanish. Throughout it the whole experience she was very kind and gracious to us.
The food is a mixture of Spanish tapas, large loaded hot dogs, and a variety of smash burgers. We had the goat cheese burger (cabrona), cheese burger, and BBQ bacon burger (gringa). All were extremely tasty and cooked thoroughly. My favorite, though, was the BBQ burger. It was tangy and very flavorful (something you don't always taste in Spain). All burgers come with fries, by the way.
This little restaurant set in a rustic Spanish atmosphere was a perfect stop for a quick bite of delicious food. If you find yourself in Brihuega checking out the lavender fields, check this place out too.
