On Trip Advisor, this restaurant had over 230 ratings with a rating of 4.5/5. My wife and I had the Chicken Masala, a chicken curry dish, a cauliflower potato veggie, and a coconut and almond naan- Peshwari Naan. And it was all excellent. Give this restaurant a chance. They have friendly, great service with delicious food. It was a welcome change from the "typical" English food that we had eaten while in London.

I would say it is better than all of the Indian places in Aberystwyth, and I have never been to an Indian restaurant in North Wales. It is a take-away place, too but take-away is not for me really. I like to enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant itself. The interior looks Indian. There are some round tables and unlike too many Indian restaurants in Britain the tables are not too close to one another. Often there is Indian music being played. In the past we have often enjoyed a good meal there on birthdays, Valentine's Day, and we take friends and relatives to the restaurant. The price is okay, too. One cannot complain really. A chicken tikka mosala costs 7.95. The menu is so varied and I often do not know what to choose from. I simply like everything. I did ask for an explanation of why the Chicken Tika Masala was like it was but it was not satisfactory. The majority of my friends were also disappointed with their dishes, describing them as bland. One asked for a little more chilli and it went from having no heat to being far too much. Clearly the chef had no idea how to add a little heat. The three vegetable dishes were okay. Given the restaurant has a reasonable rating I can only guess that the normal chef was on a night off and the person who cooked our food was a stand in. Also, we had to wait an unusually long time for the food - nearly an hour yet the restaurant was pretty empty - it was Tuesday night. The staff were friendly but not particularly attentive to our needs. We were in a second parallel room and the staff in the other room. Not once did they come and ask if we would like anything else or another drink. It took them a long time to bring tpa water and the right number of glasses.

Creating A Great Eating Experience…read more I found that Misbah took the time to listen to how we wanted our dishes, which for me, I expect to be way hotter than normal preparations, to which they presented with excellence. The overall experience and customer care was first-rate. My advice to having the best experience is to discuss the menu with the waiter and always add a restaurant choice of something you have never had before, we had a king prawn dish for starter on their recommendation and the Misbah went out there way to make sure everything was first class. I highly recommend a visit to Misbah and I look forward to going again and again.
