I'm truly not sure how they allow this place to remain open. The MRI machine is from the late 1990's. I had an MRI of my Cervical/Neck and literally could not tolerate this old antiquated machine. Very disappointing. Why am I writing this review; - Because I just had an MRI of my Neck up here in North Carolina and what a difference. Disgraceful! Staff were friendly, but their equipment is so poor. Limited hours; - as nobody in Florida bothers to work anyways. Machines are very poor quality - I'm not sure where else to send you. What a business. Today was the first time the place wasn't packed with people. Just here a week ago but they you thru the same process every time. You think they could see you were here a week ago and other than seeing why you came and checking insurance they would be done. I hate handing over my driver license and insurance card until I'm at the counter. To easy for some to snap a photo when you don't have it. It's just getting an appointment and the check process. Not sure if they don't want to hire enough people but if you can get an appointment in week you are doing great. More like two weeks out to get something done. I was willing to drive to a different Rayus but that didn't seem to help. They have a new system and the hold time to make appointments is 20-40 minutes when I tried. Well it's appointment time and still not done with check in process. Considering I had to drink a ton of water and try to hold it for test would be nice if they were on time. 15 minutes after my appointment time they came to get me. Person doing the test was great. Put more than one person on the front desk and enough people at the check in counters. Try to run on time as best as possible. I have been going here for many years for mammograms, cat scans, x-rays, bone scans, MRIs etc. The one and ONLY reason I still go here is because my doctors want to have the same radiologist do comparison studies. But that's going to end. I started coming here years ago when it was DCA, not Rayus and it ran like a clock and was extremely dependable. Now, to schedule an appointment it's a 20 minute phone call until someone picks up your call to schedule that appointment. Hopefully they have been trained as I have been asked by appointment setters what part of my body my mammogram is needed on as well as what my diagnosis is! When you get to this Rayus location, be prepared to wait on a line to check in at the counter. Sometimes it's going out the door and moves slowly. Even if you arrive 15 minutes early, you may not get up to the check in counter until after your appointment time. There's a very large waiting room but this Rayus location is always running late and the counter, short-staffed, so plan to be there a long, long time. I always have to cancel my plans for later in the day from their waiting room because yes, they are that far behind EVERYTIME! Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to get a seat in their large waiting room. Today, my experience was the worst one yet. I had set up an appointment two months ago for a brain MRI which I need to have periodically. When I set the appointment I told the scheduler about a metal implant I now have and gave him ALL the information including the name, make, model and phone number to call in case anyone needed more information. I said I also had a remote control for it and an ID Card and would bring them to this appointment. He took all the information and thanked me. Today, when I checked in for my MRI of the brain appointment, I was told that I didn't have an appointment!! MY APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED!!! BY RAYUS!! It seems that Rayus needed information on my metal implant and rather than calling me for it, they went ahead and took me off the schedule!! And it turned out, the information they needed was what I gave them in the first place AND also brought to my appointment today!!! I just finished having am MRi and bone density. I waited about 15 minutes to be called and about 5 minutes in-between tests. The staff at this location are very professional and kind. I always come to this location, even though I live closer to another location, because I am always impressed with the efficiency of this location. My MRI appointment was timely and the staff was great. Daniel in MRI got my IV first time which is not the norm for me. He was professional and knowledgeable. Since I have a single kidney, they knew to run my kidney function labs before injecting contrast which was very appreciated. The facility was clean--my only complaint is the time it takes to read the MRI. It's now been 5 business days since my brain MRI and still no results yet. read more

My review is really regarding the timeliness it's taking to receive the report from my mammogram. I have been visiting Rayus since 2017 (it was another name before) and my mammogram results were uploaded within 24 hours (typically same day). I had a mammogram on 1/19/2026 and my results are still not loaded. I have called twice and was told it's "now 14-18 business days". For a mammogram? I would really like to know when this policy was implemented as 14-18 business days seems extremely excessive. read more

I will never, and I mean never go to Rayus for any diagnostics in the future. The turnaround time is extremely lengthy. I had a cat scan done on July 21 and now it is August 1st and the results are still not in. I was told that they will try to expedite it for me and will get the results by the end of Monday, August 4th. I had a good experience here as I have to have an MRI and a CT Scan. Now maybe because my appt was for 7 am and I didn't have to wait at all. In fact, I was in and out in 20 minutes. I hope the test results will happen quickly. I looked at all of the other reviews and they are all negative. Hoping that my experience is a leader for others going forward (this used to be diagnostic centers of america). There are a lot of retired people in Florida- and people taking advantage of the aged. In my opinion, Rayus Radiology is one of those terrible companies making bank catering to insurance companies while treating their customers like cattle on the way to the slaughterhouse. I am actively looking for an alternate location for future tests. I am fed up with the way Rayus Radiology does business. Today was the last straw. I refuse to do business with companies who make me deal with bots answering the phones and wait HOURS trying in vain to reach a human, preferably in the United States, to answer a simple question. When I moved to Florida, I scheduled a mammogram with Diagnostic Centers of America in West Boca Raton. My doctor said that they had the most updated equipment. I was impressed with the staff and service in the West Boca Facility on Glades Road. I moved to Delray Beach. My doctor and insurance company recommended Rayus radiology for MRIs of my back. I called the Boca facility phone number. They were in the same building but called Rayus Radiology. I guess the companies merged. I am very disappointed with Rayus Radiology. The technologists performing tests are polite and competent. The area around the machines is clean and efficient. That is the only reason they are in business. The customer service in person and on the phone are a disgrace. No one answers the phones. The " ladies" at the desk are rude and not helpful. They are experts of what is not their job, but only know how to give you phone numbers of their support staff in India. Rayus Radiology in Delray Beach is nothing like Diagnostic Centers of America in Boca Raton. The new management ruined the company. The last straw with this criminally mismanaged company is as follows. I have two tests scheduled for tomorrow. My doctor ordered the tests nearly two weeks ago. I got a phone call yesterday from the facility stating they had not received the necessary approvals from my physician and my insurance company. Wonderful. Thank goodness I am not scanning a tumor or other life threatening, time critical condition. I volunteered to call both my physician and my insurance company about the test. The Rayus employee said that she WOULD CALL ME THIS MORNING BY 10 AM with the status . I don't drive and have to arrange transportation to appointments. I need to be able to give the transportation adequate notice scheduling or cancelling appointments. No one called me before 10am today. I called the Rayus Radiology number. All the numbers seem to be routed to a main switchboard somewhere - if I were Catholic I would say purgatory, but I am Lutheran. The former Boca Raton number and the Delray Beach number are directed to a computer controlled call center that seems to be designed to make you wait on hold indefinitely until you give up and hang up. I called at 10:30, pressed a number and waited on hold until my dog had to take at walk around 10:45. It is hotter than Hades in South Florida today. I had a bite to eat, a cup of tea and called pergatory again at around 11 am. Called again while multitasking at my desk knowing that I was about to play phone tag with a computer. The only thing I hate more than playing telephone tag with a computer is talking/typing with a bleeping bot. ( I had the joy of doing that Wednesday and any day I deal with the medical transport company). I opened my telephone tag notebook, called the f'ing number again, pressed numbers, put the phone on speaker and prepared for a day cussing under my breath while mulltitasking. Phone computers have given me Tourette syndrome. IF ANYONE WANTED TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT COMPUTER PHONE SYSTEMS AND BOTS. I DEAL WITH THEM MORE THAN HUMAN BEINGS THESE DAYS. Dialing/speakerphone/being hung up on/redialing while multitasking from about 11am until 2pm. What a day. At 2 pm, I dialed again. I tried something new. I pressed 7 (I think) for Espanol. I speak zero Espanol, but I learned in South Florida that the phone gets picked up by a human when one hits the number for Espanol. The human, however, has a 50/50 chance of either helping you or cussing at you en Espanol and slamming the phone down. I learned a few choice words in Espanol this way. If you get the Punta's name who slammed the phone down in your ear you can write a complaint about her by name and send it to the company headquarters electronically or by mail. If you on hold anyway, might as well use yourself. Ms.Punta cussed and hung up today, so I tried hitting 5 for if you are calling from a physicians office. That usually gets you a polite human. Today, it got me a woman who I could barely understand. She was polite, but useless. She didn't understand me, she couldn't help me, I couldn't understand her. I finally asked her where she was located. She mumbled something. I asked her what country she was in. SHE SAID INDIA. INDIA?????? Bleep f'ing bleep. Need a new place to get my tests. read more

I have used RAYUS ( previously diagnostic centers of America) Radiology of Delray and Boca multiple times over last few years for my Mammograms, and CT scans and they never disappoint. Customer service has been friendly, and organized. The setting is spotless clean, decor is nice, comfortable chairs and a drink bar for coffee and water. I rarely have waited more than 30 minutes for my appointment and the technicians have been thorough. I'd recommend this place for all radiology screens. read more

My personal experience, booking my last appointment several months ago, was a total frustration. Between the online system not working and calling them directly, I wasted an hour setting up a simple appointment. I NEVER had these issues with DCA. The good news is that the local hospital, (Bethesda East), is just as convenient, and their outpatient diagnostics unit runs like a swiss watch! read more

This I was my second time at this particular RAYUS. I have to say - this is a GREAT facility. The girl who checked me in was darling - she even thanked me for filling out my paperwork at home! This employee was appropriately dressed and groomed and made me feel welcome. There was a person next to her who never picked up his (?) head and was slumped in his chair - not very welcoming or professional looking. The third woman was lovely. There is plenty of parking at this location and the waiting room is clean and neat. I appreciate the "no cell phone" signs. The Tech who took me back and did my procedure - might be Kelli? - was lovely. Not only was she very kind, professional and calming but she was able to get my IV started easily - that's quite a talent! While I hope I don't need anymore radiology procedures, if I do I will likely go to this facility. My only complaint is that with RAYUS, it seems that results are taking longer and longer - my last test took about 10 days to get to my doctor and I still have not gotten a notification that I can see the result online. read more

Rayus blames all their current problems on a system migration, as if that's a separate entity. No! I had an mri of my pelvis Nov 8 and as of Nov 19, no radiologist has read my images. And when I called medical records after, a 25 minute wait their service representative could not give me any sense of when a radiologist might look at my mri to issue a report. They blame a system migration which has created all kinds of problems for them. Well, who made the decision to get a new system and who screwed it up, Rayus? I will NEVER use Rayus again, they are so incompetent in processing images. The technical people taking the images are fine, but what good is that if nobody is reading the images?
