The owner of the company looked at our problem and was able to arrange the repair that same afternoon even though they already had a full schedule. They had a new leaf spring for our trailer in their inventory and were able to have it installed on the trailer within an hour. Speken Iron and Metal specializes in trailer repair and their work and professionalism show it. This company could have really taken advantage of our situation because we had to get the repair done in order to get back on the road. The cost for the repair including the new leaf spring was very reasonable and fair. We were treated like we were a long time customer. Even though I live about 180 miles away in Eastern Colorado, I will be taking all of my trailers to Speken Iron and Metal for repairs and maintenance. David suspected a leaking o ring same as myself. David looked and looked finally finding a suspect o ring, they put the motor back together but that wasn't it. Without a code for a bad injector he was able to diagnose a bad injector but not which one so he replaced all 8 including a new fuel filter and oil change. This is my service truck and it sucked not having it for 2 weeks but having been an auto mechanic I understand sometimes cars suck ( IT'S CALLED LIFE). What's important is David has the knowledge and skills to get it done when your truck is the most difficult to repair and IT WAS ALL UNDER WARRANTY. We called no less than 18 tow and roadside companies for assistance. Many refused to help. Others were unable to help due to restrictions with their equipment or location. Mr Roadside, Mario, took our call at 5:37pm. He was in Pueblo 45 minutes from our breakdown on C25 exit 140. He did not hesitate to come to our aide. Within an hour he got us off the freeway off-ramp and to the repair shop about 6 miles away. He followed us until we dropped the trailer to make sure we arrived safely.
