The usual stereotype I have of a butcher is a really beefy and gruff dude with chronic meat sweats, who pals around with a baker and candlestick maker (why is that a job btw, that seems like a hobby at best). These guys don't look like that- giving me a lesson in stereotypes and judging books via their cover. As I chomp down on my deliciously spiced sausages, I realize that both my horizons and waistline have expanded. Finally, it is pronounced Toe-Ma's. Get that wrong and they will laugh at you, and you will deserve it.

It's so flavorful and tender that I honestly don't have the right words. And their bacon? OMG Every cut I've purchased has been fresh, beautifully prepared, and incredibly delicious. And the prices? More than fair. You truly feel like you're getting amazing quality without the inflated markup. Recently, I had a small mix-up with an order. I placed and paid for what I needed, and when I got home, I realized a large cut had accidentally been included that I hadn't ordered. I called right away, and the owner was so kind and flexible about having me bring it back (even though I live about 20 minutes away). When I returned, he didn't just "fix" the mistake. He went above and beyond. He refunded the $54 for the large cut and generously added additional packages of meat -- including more of what I had originally ordered. That kind of service is rare. It felt thoughtful. It felt personal. It felt like someone who truly cares about his customers. The assistant was also helpful and kind -- you can tell this place operates with integrity from top to bottom. Exceptional quality. Affordable pricing. Fabulous customer service and top notch quality meats; prime beef, veal, lamb, and game like bison and duck, and even some seafood. Incredibly, they make their own German sausages and those are a real treat.
