I was in a panic because my mom locked herself out of her house. The first locksmith I called couldn't be there for a few hours. I called Ray and he said he could come immediately. He showed up within 20 minutes. This lock was not easy, as it is an old lock. Ray persevered and got her inside! Thank you for outstanding service ! I'm forever grateful . Also, he did not prey on my panic and try to jack up the price. read more

Not very happy. Had a key made that will unlock the door, but he couldn't program it. Said that he would come back to do it, but it's been 3 weeks, and I've texted several times asking about it. Still no response. read more

Nowadays it's hard to find service that is OUTSTANDING..FAST AND RELIABLE..When my Battery died at 2 oclock in the morning on the back roads home, 25 degrees outside. I was beyond frantic. A single mother with two young children sleep in the back seat because I was caught into double shift at work. I called Rays Mobile Locksmith expecting a recording. Then I heard a cheerful voice on the other end. Hi Mr.Ray "I need your help" quickly explaining my predicament. Mr.Ray told me to calm down as he heard the trembling fear in my voice. After giving him my location it seemed as though he was just up the road.He was there in minutes. He charged the battery and we was up and running in no time. Talk about going above and beyond Mr.Ray even followed behind us for 15 miles until we reached home safely. I had to write and say Thank you Thank you so very much on behalf me and my children. Nick & Zachary not only coordinated with my friends, the owners of the home, but were *extremely* kind in coordinating with me. They let me know in advance which days would involve a lot of noise so I could make plans to be away. They were always polite & fun to chat with when, for example, my car needed to be moved to make way for a lumber delivery. During this project the remnants of hurricane Michael passed over Athens causing larger than normal rainfall. Nick & Zachary did extra work to make sure the drainage would be installed before the storm hit. Their drainage worked wonderfully, filling the retaining pond to the brim. They also assisted me with filling sandbags to make sure a separate area of the house would be protected in case the rainfall was excessive. Needless to say, I was *very* impressed with their conscientiousness! Home projects can be so stressful. You won't find nicer or more capable landscapers to help you through your project!

I had them come back a week later to add recessed lights. The lighting in the kitchen is amazing, it had been very dark! Photo is right after the work, includes some of the holes needed to run the wires. We needed to paint anyway, so will have the painters repair the ceiling. I highly recommend Marco and his team!

Do not, under any circumstances chance your mother's, grandmothers, daughter, sister or anyone's life to this company. At 8:39am this morning, my daughter was told by Ray himself that he would be at her location in an hour. 2 and one-half hours later they still weren't there. They are contracted to provide assistance to insureds of Auto-Owners Insurance Company and clearly put them behind everyone else. I just spoke to the man myself to ask him what valid reason he had for treating a young lady like this and I have to honestly say, he was in full on cover his ass mode. He tried to tell me 3 different lies. Keep your family safe ... do not under any circumstances rely on these people to care enough to get to you. Formal complaints have been filed with the insurance company and the third party administrator who contracts with Rays. There are good and decent businesses in that area. Choose them and leave these people to rot just as they left my 25 year old daughter on the side of the road with no thought to her personal safety. Unbelievable. read more

If you're reading this you are probably desperate to get something unlocked in the least amount of time possible at a fair price: THIS IS YOUR GUY! HE SOLVED MY PROBLEM REALLY FAST. LIKE, *REALLY REALLY* FAST!!!! Here's my story: I was having a terrible day already when I locked my keys in my trunk. It was 90 degrees in summer time heat in the Alps Kroger parking lot. Well actually it wasn't MY trunk it was the trunk of my dad's car I was borrowing at the time (which is even worse.) I literally locked them in there with $200 worth of groceries...at least half of which was frozen foods like popsicles, ice cream, and frozen meals that would have been ruined if they thawed out. Bottom line, he got there and the situation was resolved in under an hour-- enough time for me to even save the frozen food. It felt like a GREAT DAY after that. I took a chance to call him because I read the good reviews here on Yelp and I definitely wanted to add one more. I will absolutely call him again if I ever find myself needing a locksmith AND YOU SHOULD TOO! read more

Definitely recommend using Ray's Mobile Locksmith. My girlfriend lost her only set of keys to her car and (after getting it towed from downtown Athens...) we called Ray's. They had to special order the key fob but it only took 1 day. Cutting and programming took maybe 1 1/2 hours so not bad considering we didnt have a key to copy. Price was lower than most, but not the lowest we quoted. If the necessity calls for it again, I'll definitely use Ray's Mobile Locksmith first. read more

I called many lock and keysmiths around 5pm on Friday afternoon and nobody could do it after 6pm. I found ray and he came out within 30 minutes and he was very reasonably priced to make a key and unlock my car. Ray was awesome he got right into the car and immediately made the key.
