Very Shocked at response from S&S Repair Services A little…read morehistory as up to this point, I would have had nothing but good things to say about S&S Repair service. They had gone above and beyond to turn around the repair of my F250 truck in a day's time with no issues. The level of service was beyond expectations at the time. A couple of weeks ago my wife started having intermittent engine codes and reduction of speed with her car. I spoke with Brian and brought the car into the shop which he was prompt with looking at it, deleting the old codes and test-driving it. At this time nothing was shown to be faulty, and he recommended driving it until the codes came back and bring it back into the shop. Well, the codes came back this past weekend and stayed with the reduction in power which only allowed for about 40mph. Sunday night my mother fell and broke her hip and has been in the hospital since Sunday night. With me going back and forth to Beaumont this has left my wife and 2 sons limited on transportation. Wednesday morning it worked out that I could follow her to S&S Repair shop to drop her car off to be looked at and then I headed back to Beaumont after dropping my wife off at Home. I spoke to Brian later that morning when he returned my call which he stated that they would get to it as soon as they could due to personnel issues at the time which I understood. I called Thursday evening in which they stated that they had not had a chance to look at it and would be looking at it Friday Morning. At 10:44 this morning I called to follow up on my wife's car and a lady answered the phone in which I asked about the status, and I heard Brian in the background state (I AM PUTTING THE #! &*#*#! CAR ON THE RACK NOW). I was literally shocked at what I had just heard. I told the lady on the phone that I was really disappointed in hearing what I had just heard and all she could say was That Brian has had a rough week and to Call the office Line number in the future. At any point in the last couple of months Brian could have asked for me to call the office number but this never seemed to be an issue. I have always supported local business but after hearing how the owner of a local business talked and acted like a customer was a pain in ass because he was having a bad week, he needs to consider the week his customers are having as well.

It was originally intended to be towed but upon arrival the wife and her mechanic decided to drive it from Louisiana to Texas and back. I was contacted by the husband and told it just needed a starter. I was relieved and okayed him to put brake pads on the front a long with the starter. The price I was quoted was $427. A couple of hours later I was contacted by the wife with a $742 price and was told the mechanic was working on the tvs in the rear but that they were now in working order. Ans yes i did question the difference in price. I received my vehicle way beyond empty in gas. Upon arrival the wife told me on the way to drop it off the front blinkers went out. The price was $932 for a starter and brakes pads and rotors on the rear. I would never request brake service ONLY on a rear wheel drive vehicle. My intention was to have it start. Brake pads were optional and with it only being a starter i figured brake pads in the front wouldnt hurt. It will no longer start unless have it jumped. I had to pay AAA that day to get me on the road again after being left with not even enough gas to get less than a street away to the gas station, where I live. My tvs and ac now turn on and off even with the vehicle is off. I reported them to BBB and their response was that I am angry because they do not do provide gas service and that I appeared to be under the influence. And that they don't understand the problem since they returned the vehicle with no drop off fee. (I was told they offer pick up and drop off service) My father is retired law enforcement and i work for the state. This is accusatory and depicts defamation of character. When I called the shop 5 minutes after receiving the vehicle the husband was rude, laughed at me and continuously kept calling me back with no resolution besides arguing. I have text messages from the shop stating the mechanic was working on the electrical problem yet my receipt only depicts a starter, and brake bads and rotors. I only know they are on the rear only because I got underneath the car and can see the front was never taken apart at all. This was a surprise.Let's be real... if your car doesn't start and you have to get it towed would you request brakes to resolve the issue? Lol!! RUN from this duo. They use miscommunication between]1 husband and wife as a tool and obviously only oversell brakes to compensate for what the shop is lacking. I am now filing criminal charges.
