My previous photographer cancelled unexpectedly. She works out of her home and has a cute setup. She offers a variety of options for sessions and does outdoor photos as well. Honestly I was just thankful I was able to find someone to do the photos for me, I wasn't expecting to find my new permanent photographer. I was amazed with her work. While doing my son's first session she educated me about newborn photos and we talked about all the different options like props, backdrops, etc. I'm super indecisive so she helped pick out colors and gave me some great ideas for posing him. After I received our unedited pictures to pick out favorites for completion I decided to book all the milestone pictures with her. For each session I picked out a theme and if she didn't have the backdrop or the props she went out and bought them. She worked hard to make the pictures perfect for us. Each session she always went above and beyond. I've already booked my upcoming Mother's Day session with her. In the end after this long winded review all I have to say is she is great at her job, super friendly and flexible with plans and sessions. I absolutely love her. Check her out and you won't be disappointed. Also, her Santa is utterly amazing too. He was the perfect Santa for holiday photos.

Thankfully Brey was available and extremely helpful and assisted me through the whole booking process, it felt like I was working with a dear friend the whole time. I've never booked a professional photographer for an event before so I was bit nervous about the whole thing but she made me feel so comfortable and taken care of in the weeks prior and on the day. She arrived to the city hall location early and was ready to take photos right away, she caught great images of our small group of guests arriving, small moments here and there and wonderful portrait shots of both me, my husband and the whole group together at the ceremony, later at a local park and then at our small reception dinner. She didn't mind driving around the the city a bit to our 3 different locations and kept a positive and friendly attitude the whole time. The images she took of us as a couple are just amazing. We look so happy and in love, she made us feel so at ease the whole time. I can't wait to share the memories for years to come and with our friends and family who couldn't attend. She's very aware of the types of poses required for a great looking wedding album. I just received the images yesterday, earlier than expected and I'm just blown away by how good we all look! The hard part is picking which prints I want to put up on the wall. I can't imagine sharing our day with a better photographer, thanks Brey!

Our first session together was my maternity shoot, which lead to our family shoots. She was so patient with our young daughter from our newborn session to now. (Our daughter is six.) The quality, lighting, and guidance in positioning in every session is worth the investment ten fold. She's quite talented in catching you in a "moment". I've been extremely happy with all the time she takes in making sure the final product is perfect. I have to admit that I've cheated on her a couple times for different reasons, like hiring a photographer on vacation in Hawaii and not being able to get to the Sacramento area - I live in Oakland. When I hired someone where I live the prices where astronomical and nowhere near as good as Meghan's quality. I've regretted ever straying from her every.single.time. Ugh. I've learned my lesson the (very) hard way. I'd highly recommend Meghan and tell people from the Bay Area that she is worth an hour and a half drive for a session. If you live in the Sac/Rocklin area - you are SO lucky.
