Rawhides is unique and it's very well known around the small towns surrounding it. It's pretty busy on the weekends but that just tells you how much people love it. Anytime someone wants to go out to eat I always suggest Rawhides and everyone wants to go. I've tried a few different items off the menu and each time they taste great. 10/10 recommend anyone of any age to try it out, you will not be dissatisfied or disappointed! read more

Late review but I was so impressed how this restaurant changed the face of this town and area . I know of people that drive 1 hour one way to come eat here . I have tried this place out 2 times and was very impressed by the food and service . The ambience is incredible . I plan to check this place out on the summer when the patio is opened and there's a band . I wish the best for the owner in this business . Every little town has their special something, whether it be a landmark, a famous person that grew up there, etc. There's also restaurants, some are great, some are dives, rawhides is above and beyond. I had the pleasure of ordering one of their burgers (I like to have mine plain with cheese and sometimes bacon), it was delicious, the meat was balanced in between lean and fatty perfectly, the aged cheddar wasn't too overpowering, and the bacon was cooked just right. They also have a wonderful selection of various drinks, and an awesome upstairs section away from the restaurant to enjoy them, it gives you the experience of a quiet or rowdy evening at an old west saloon. In the quiet town of Stenen, it's the perfect place to enjoy a good meal and drink and catch up with old friends and meet others that come to enjoy what they have to offer. I hope to return soon and enjoy another delicious burger with a side of fries. read more
