Yet another bad experience. No one behind the counter on entering. I asked to send a 2nd class parcel by Evri. I was asked for its contents to which i replied clothing. I was told I needed to be more specific than that - since when?. I was then asked to pay £6. I had to inform him it should be £3.49. At this point he said im going to serve another customer!!. This isn't the first time I've had this or they have decided to use their phone whilst I'm left standing there. He said he didn't know why it was the price it was and I could go to another PO. At this point I paid extra for Royal Mail. I asked if he was going to report the problem and the look I got from him ... At this point I told him I was fed up of being treated this way everytime I came in. I said it was rude to serve another customer unless the system was slow which it was not. He said well we will have to disagree on that. I asked if it was because I was a women as every person he has served over me in the past has been male. He didn't answer. I said I had worked in customer services for years and this was appalling. His reply, my family have been in business for 60 years...So have my grandparents and parents - the main lesson is, treat your customers with respect and remember the customer is always right. read more
