I've gone here for a few piercings before, they were done by Emely and Jonathan and they were absolutely great, so I've recommended this shop to anyone who asks. I can't do that anymore because of the traumatic experience I had last week. After trying to pierce me in the wrong place on my ear twice, their piercer Aysha got the hinge of a hoop stuck in my ear. I mentioned that the ring looked too small before we even got started, but she reassured me. She didn't tell me there was any issue, but after 20 minutes of trying to push and pull the hoop out and having to change gloves because I was bleeding so much, I didn't want her to touch me anymore and the manager had to pull the hoop out. I don't think any professional would look at this sized hoop and think it would fit. I have over 15 piercings and have never had such a painful experience, especially for a simple helix piercing.

The staff is very polite and friendly. I don't feel like it's an intimidating environment as some shops can be. My daughter and I have come here multiple times and will continue to for all of our piercings. We absolutely love our piercer, Josie. She is very skilled and incredibly sweet. read more

I forgot my piercer's name but he was very kind and gentle. I was super nervous. But it was quick and easy. He answered all of my questions with no problems. The shop is roomy and clean, nothing super spectacular. Just nice & clean. I got a nose piercing and they had so much jewelry to choose from. It really was a great experience Raw was recommended to me by more than one person and I'm glad I listened. IF I ever choose to get more, I will return to RAW read more

Had my other nostril done a few weeks back by Josie, and I was nervous it wouldn't match the other side, but as soon as she pulled out all of her stuff to mark and measure.. that's when I knew I went to the right place. She's super sweet and outgoing and a fun person. Even educated me on how to help with another piercing I've been struggling with that I've had 2 other piercers look at and now after 2-3 years it's finally healing properly. Came to the broad river location for a septum piercing. While the prep work was to protocol, my piercer put the clamps on without making sure they were straight first and pierced me, then when it was done, had to re-pierce me bc it wasn't straight. I also didn't know at the time you shouldn't get a ring with jewels as your actual piercing jewelry, which should have been strongly discouraged, but it wasn't. So not only was I pierced with a ring that scratched even more but it was dragged through, in and out of my freshly pierced septum 3 times. Then it was too big for my nose type. I feel more comfortable going to a different shop to get it changed to a smaller size bc I can't chance being pierced by that woman again. I don't remember her name, but the initials are AW. Please get more training for her as a decent piercer read more

The people here are nice, but th3 sign up process is a bit much. It was also crowded in the waiting area. Everyone was wearing a mask and there was hand sanitizer within reach. The staff were helpful, but I found out why my nose jewelry fell out within 40 days after getting my nose pierced by them: it was a type of post used for lip piercings. It unscrewed and fell out of my nose before I even realized it. I ended up going to knottyheadz piercing place and getting mt piercing redone because it closed up by Monday noon and got a pigtail post put in. There's a common myth that you cannot have a pig tail post put in for the initial piercing. Well it worked out for me to get it done this way and now I have more room in my nostril without a whole lip post hanging out in there. I would say save yourself trouble and ask a piercer if they can put a pigtail nose post in and if they refuse, that should be your red flag. I will personally never use screw on jewelry for my nose. Never again. read more

Well I put a hole in my body.... It didn't hurt but my eye leaked a small amount of some unknown fluid. Outside of that everything was quick, clean , and easy. Walked in, signed a waiver, paid , and was punctured. Easy peasy read more

Everyone here is very sociable and easy to talk to. This was the first facial piercing I've ever had and they were very patient with me even though I was anxious. Thank you so much to RAW for an excellent experience with piercing my sons ears. We did check out the website ahead of time so we were fully prepared since he's only 16. We arrived promptly at opening and were able to walk right in, fill out paperwork and moved to our room. Jonathan was so awesome. I got a Monroe piercing. I waited the week and a half for the swelling to go down. tried to contact the piercer and got no response to come in and have it downsized. I ended up going to a more local business (I'm not from columbia) only to be told immediately when I stepped foot in the shop that not only was my piercing placed at an incorrect angle, it was placed altogether incorrectly and the jewelry used was cheap and causing further irritation. I had it removed and now have to wait for this to heal and have another placed in a different area because of the tissue damage that was caused. Hard lesson learned. read more

Had my nose and my tongue pierced today by Greg! Very nice guy and makes the whole process comfortable and quick! I would recommend raw body and Greg to anyone that wants a piercing! Also to add, the prices are so good!! Paid $80 in total after upgrading the nose to a diamond stud! read more

They allow walk ins until a certain time of day and I came with my friend and we both wanted to get a nose piercing. I was super anxious but the man who did my piercing was great. He walked us through the process and helped relieve the anxiety. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend you to go here for your next piercing. read more

I went for four piercings about a month ago, I got my septum, other side of nostril, labret, and conch done. The septum piercing was crooked, the other side of my nostril didn't align with my existing nostril piercing at all, and she didn't pierce the conch where she had marked it. I returned today to get a ring for my lip, where I was given the wrong size after being measured. I love the atmosphere and the cleanliness but far too many mistakes were made in my experience. read more

I do recommend raw body piercing! The vibe soon as I walked in was cool, relaxed, and positive. Please forgive me for not remembering her or his name! but the young lady in the front was very helpful! The young man who helped me pick out the jewelry for my 2 piercings was also ever helpful. What I got done today were both Tragus (on the Cartilage) and 1 Daith on the left side. I personally did schedule my appointment, But they do offer walk-ins! Greg is awesome!!! If you like a good distracting conversation, and awesome results he's the guy. I will be coming back definitely to get a couple more piercings !! Thank Y'all Again. I also purchased 3 sets of titanium stud earrings for my earlobe holes and my sons. I've had them in for about 5 hours or so now and haven't had to take them out. Other metals to us cause itching, area red, or feeling hot but these titanium stud are amazing! read more

I took my daughter here to get a surprise nose piercing (she had wanted one since she was 10, finally 14 so I thought, "why not?"). I chose Raw Body Piercing because of all the great reviews I read online. I'm so glad we came here! Jon was the professional who pierced my daughters nose. I couldn't have selected anyone better to pierce my daughter. Jon was relaxed, relaxing, intelligent and patient. Jon ensured the jewelry was well sanitized and explained after care thoroughly. Jon answered all of our questions and made us feel so comfortable. I want to get nose piercing myself and I will be requesting Jon for sure! Over all this was a great experience. Booking our piecing appointment online was easy, but they do accept walk-ins. Very clean environment and nice selection of jewelry. Can't wait for our next piercing here! I went in today to get my navel pierced and was a little scared because I'm a bigger girl and was afraid they would say no. so I got there and the place was super clean, they were so nice and professional. the piercer was very patient with me when I wanted to change the placement, and so kind. I told him I was nervous and he had Greg come hold my hand and it actually wasn't as painful as I thought it was gonna be, but he did an amazing job, and it turned out perfect. I have had three piercing done by Kat and all my experiences was great . She made sure to sterilize before and after . She made sure i knew about the after care process . She was very informative about what she was going to do and what would be the best products to use . The building was very clean and it was a comfortable setting !
