I waited five years for a single application to fade, enough to have them done again and correctly, so I was very cautious. My consult with Mya was great, she took her time and showed me different possibilities. she is very creative, not just a line filler. I don't think there's anything symmetrical about my face, and she got it right. Honestly, they look like natural eyebrows of which I had tweezed down to nothing And no regrowth. I've been getting my lashes done for 5 years and I've never had so many lashes pop off with no natural lash attached. Literally 50% gone after a week. I told my lash tech at my fill and she didn't seem too concerned. It happened again, so I reached out to the salon to let them know and they told me I could pay for another fill and somehow expect it to be different this time. No thanks. I have since found a new lash tech and she was shocked at how they were just falling off with no natural lashes attached, my new lashes look gorgeous and are staying on with no problems. I was so nervous to get microblading done but I've been talking about it since I started doing my lashes with Mya a year ago... Now I've had my eyebrows done & I had to report here. Mya drafted them until I liked them. Even then, I was still scared & uncertain... I just finished my 4-week post-microblading touch-up & didn't realize they could get anymore perfect... DO IT. & do it with Mya... Holy cow is she good at what she does! I had barely-there brows before & was ridiculously awful at drawing them on. I was very impressed when I saw the Microblading results on Yelp. I also thought it very smart to do a consultation first to ensure their clients can be helped. Unfortunately, their professionalism stopped their. I called Monday, it's now Wednesday, and no one has returned my call. Their recording says to book online but I wasn't able to find a consult option. I sent an email with the eye brow pictures requested and left another message asking them to let me know if they were sufficient. No call! No reply to my email!! Not going here because if they can't take a moment to reply to an email, what will happen to my eyebrows???? Update-same day as the reply from the owner, I responded saying I'd be interested in an appointment. It's Friday and no reply. My suggestion-hire a receptionist to cover when the other is out. Microblading by Mya was great. I have good results. I've also had my lashes done their 3 times. So in total I have visited 5 times. The only complaint is that the place is always empty. It is the most boring spa service place I've visited in my life. I don't look forward to going. The techs don't speak to you. Music isn't playing. The place is dead quiet. Not even the sound of a water fountain. For those who are social, be ready for an ultra silent, dead quite, library quiet environment. Actually, it's qieter than a library. So when my last lash artist moved to a North Tampa salon, I begrudgingly began an internet search for a new artist, which is usually quite anxiety producing for me. Based on my own personal experience (hundreds of lash applications over almost 10 years) I've discovered that finding a high QUALITY lash person is not a simple task. It's a talent and skill set that only years of experience can produce. During my many conversations with lash artists over the years I've discovered that there is so much competition all over Tampa for the really exceptional lash artist. Salons actually will actually compete for local talent. The internet can only tell you so much. From the many salons I researched in South Tampa I chose Ravish Brows based on the pictures of the owner Mya's OWN personal work (NOT stock photography) and the fact that the salon is a SPECIALTY salon focusing only on lashes and brows. I've found that at some of the noisy, busy, overbooked, "we-do-everything" type salons where the lash artist is employed, she'd often have to "rush" through my fill-in's because of already being behind and having a customer immediately after me. ***Lash application is a VERY time consuming and EXACT technique. Trust me when I say, you do NOT want a rushed or distracted artist applying glue to your own lashes! You want someone who will take the time to make sure your application is up to par.*** Ravish Brows is a local small business owned by the actual lash artist herself (not some corporate big greedy chain). Lashes are put on in clusters (I have attached picture) so they fall out three at a time instead of individually. I just have to say, I love to get my lashes done by Maya. She's so professional. I waited a couple of months to give this review because I wanted to see if my lashes is would be just as fantastic the 4th or 5th time around as they were the first time, and I have to say my lashes always look fantastic. I have very short very curly wild lashes. I've had previous lash artists whine that they are especially difficult, but no such whining from Maya because the chick is skilled. I am disappointed by the lashes I received here as well as the follow up with my concerns. I let the lash technician know that when I had gotten lashes done several years ago, they were not full enough so I would need something more. She showed me one photo example of the volume blend light and it looked natural and full, however, my lashes look nothing like the photo. Moreover, the description of the service I received at the start is different from the explanation I got after my complaint. When I asked if anything could be done, I was told I would need to come back in for an additional $125 with an apology about the confusion. read more

I am 1 week post my first microblading with Maya. I was both excited & scared. She did a great mandatory consultation & allowed me to ask questions before my session. I was very happy upon completion & after day 4 I literally was jumping around getting ready for work saying " I love this, I love this, I love this" my make up process is so smooth.
