Initially I was disappointed that the menu is not much different from the standard Indian restaurant menu I am used to. Not having many chances to try Nepali food, I was hoping to find something new and different.
That said, the service is nice, and the food quite delicious. It's great they brought some papadam for us to munch on as we perused the menu, and they brought some naan along with the entrees, which include rice already. I don't know what the custom is in Helsinki, but back in the US these items are usually at extra charge.
I'd say that this naan is the best I've had in my life! It's very light and fluffy, as well as buttery and flavorful. I find bread in Finland usually of excellent quality, and the high standard seems to extend to this naan bread as well. So delicious and better than any I've tried in the US. read more
