The ice cream was clearly produced from a chemical base....absolutely nothing fresh about it. The chocolate and melon had no taste, and the strawberry tasted like a bad children's ice cream bar. The waiter insisted we have it with homemade whipped cream...apparently the Corsicans invented canned whipped cream as that is what we were served and were charged three extra euros for it. And to top it all off, I had to convince the owner that I was indeed seated at one of her tables in order to use their filthy bathroom with no soap.
Do yourself a favor....take a ferry across the way to Italy and eat real ice cream! read more
