Awesome, beautiful views of the fjords at just over 3000 feet up. It took my wife and I, who are both pretty fit, 5 hours round trip to hike from town and back. The brochures estimates 6 hours. A good idea for a cheap lunch is to stop at the local coop, grab some day old rolls for 50% off, but some lunch meat, brie and eat at the top if the weather is nice. There was still some small amounts of snow in late July. Best thing we did all trip so far, but we like being outside. read more
