I've been living in uptown for a few years now first at Villa Rosa and now at State Thomas Ravello…read more! There has definitely been an improvement in the office staff in the past few months ! Concerns I saw but never addressed have greatly improved ( the water stains in the hallway carpet now are gone and the hallways smell and look amazing! The maintenance staff seem to really care about the upkeep of the interior and exterior buildings and parking area . The package room is somewhat more organized but I get items delivered to work ! A huge shout out to Cade and Savannah in the leasing office ! Both of these ladies are so professional and are always eager to help with any concerns that may arise ! And the do email residents about any concerns or issues of " the fire alarms " that go off at all times of the day or night ( at least they are being proactive!! Just sign another year lease at my uptown home !

I am currently writing this the day after halloween at 6:20AM. Expect to be woken up and forced to leave your home at any time of the night, at least once a month, as has been the case the past year. (Midnight, 2am, 6am, etc) Management's response: a $250 rent increase after the first year. I also can hear nearly every movement my next door or upstairs neighbor makes. Walking, opening drawers, doors, setting down items, flushing toilets. It's incredibly cheaply built. True nightmare complex. Great location.

They're gonna create an unsafe environment for you in your own home. The staff at the leasing office are there mostly to be mean and they hate you rather than to help you. very obnoxious, when you call they lie and keep transferring you. Their washer and dryers suck. They have all the time construction going on, lots of noise. Very bossy staff rather than helpful. Home is a place where you want peace, but these people are not gonna help u with that and gonna make it worse for u!

PLEASE READ I've…read morenever left a review for anything before. I created a yelp account to leave one for this apartment. That's how bad this place is. The floors and walkways are disgusting. The community does not pick up after their dogs, and management does not clean well. If you're a fan of San Francisco sidewalks, you'd enjoy. The elevators never work, except for sometimes when they let you get on, then get stuck, and keep you for 30 minutes. There's always a new construction project going on that will "improve the community", but in reality, it just blocks the garage entrance to your building and forces you to walk around the whole floor just to take a detour. The garage gate is always broken, and our car was stolen twice. Cars are broken into every night, and it's never a safe feeling. One morning, when taking our dog outside, we saw a homeless man urinating in the courtyard. (Inside the gated community.) Teens sneak in every night to use the pools at 3am, and there's always noise going on. Security is useless and does nothing. The fire alarms are broken and go off almost every week in the middle of the night. When trying to move out, I gave way more than a 60 day notice, but when the time came, they tried to stick us with a $2k fee because we "didn't inform them". When I showed written proof, they dropped it. Location is not worth it. There are other places to go. Please save yourself, this place is truly the worst place I've ever lived. I've spent the last 11 months dreaming of the day my lease came to an end, and I'm so happy it finally is. If I can save one person with this review, it will have been worth it. Stay safe y'all.

This building has been in hot water in the past, for ruining everything around the ALL-REFLECTIVE glass exterior of the building, which basically bakes everything in a 360 degree oven. It is beyond time for the city to make them look into more serious options for addressing this issue...because it's still NOT fixed, and it is ruining the area around it.
