If you're also like me you're freezing to death right now and wishing just for a glimpse of the warm sun ... well living in Ireland I'm like that everyday. I booked a holiday through here to Lanzarote (ok maybe not the most exotic location, but hey it was sunnier and warmer than Dublin). The price was really cheap and everything was included from flights, hotels, and even our transfer from the airport, which was very convenient as the hotel was a bit of away from the airport. Don't expect deluxe accomodations, but for the prices we paid it was more than enough and the short walk to the beach satisfied my need for sun and sand. Now if only I could get a few more yo yos in the old bank account I might try for a Red Sea holiday. If you'd like to donate to the Kelly T Travel Fund, we accept cash, check and card.

The main focus is the animals of course. What caught my eye was the ability to hang out with kittens and puppies, which was very fun, but the other animals and the scenery was gorgeous. Coming from living in a city, this was so entertaining. There was everything from chicks to goats to highland cows. Tons of different birds to look at, along with the ability to feed ducks and chickens. Not the type of place where you pay to get in then pay for feed, it's just in barrels to grab. I got to sit in a room with two very sweet kittens for a while and just play with them. Same with the puppies. When you finish walking through all that, you go out to a field with a bunch of different animals to look at. This place is truly the cutest, and very reasonably priced. It was €27 for three people. It's sorta hidden, and the only reason we found it was because we planned to visit the Newgrange Tomb but didn't have a planned tour so we couldn't go in. This was definitely a good replacement and honestly, I'd rather do this again then go see the tomb. Tombs don't have cute kittens. Cannot stress how much fun this was!

Promised 33-Passenger Bus for Private Tour, Delivered Two Small Buses Instead…read more We booked a private tour with Elegant Irish Tours for a family reunion in June 2026, and unfortunately the experience left us frustrated and let down. We'd originally booked with Butler Tours and paid a deposit but had to cancel (and eat a penalty) when they couldn't provide a single bus for our group of 28. Elegant Irish Tours stepped in and assured us they could accommodate our group with a bus capable of accommodating 33 passengers, plus coolers for refreshments. We were relieved and excited -- this was a family reunion, and being together as one group mattered a lot to us. On the actual day, two smaller buses showed up instead of the one we were promised. This split our group and was a real disappointment for an event centered on togetherness. We called the office right away and got no support or concern in return. With no alternative offered, we had no choice but to continue with our day as best we could. The bigger issue came after we returned home. I called twice and got nowhere, and I emailed Wendy, the supervisor, directly -- I never received so much as a reply. During the sales process, it was all yes, yes, yes. Once something actually went wrong, there was silence. If you're considering this company, be aware that the follow-through doesn't match the sales pitch.
