The food I had really wasn't all that bad but for the price the quality of the food wasn't there. The beer I had was good, a nice dark beer. The Onion Rings I shared were bad, over cooked and small quite disappointing, the fries were basically from a McDonalds and my burger was good in size, but I felt like I was eating a burger from A Fast Food Restaurant. I had the Cheesy Cheese Burger which is your basic burger with mozzarella cheese sticks in it. It sounded better than it was. I can say I left knowing I have no intention of ever going there again and so far since being in Cologne it's one of the worst burgers I have had. The price here is too expensive and it leaves you feeling gross and ripped off which isn't a good combination if you ask me Even though I said I probably wouldn't come back, the Cologne Cardinals Baseball team was having a team dinner and all the food and drinks were on the club. So I was excited to go back and get literally whatever I wanted. For a starter I had calamari and the Weizen hell beer. The calamari wasn't very good and would never order it again. The beer though was pretty good, but I haven't had a Weizen I haven't liked yet. Then for my main course I ordered the Angus Burger with onion rings on it and also ordered potato wedges, this also came with Coke slaw. The burger was better than my last one because the beef was better quality but the burger was very dry and not worth the price of 15€. The potato wedges were alright and the sour cream that comes with it was good also. The Coke slaw to be honest was probably my favorite thing I ordered food wise. I wouldn't say that is a good thing though. Then came Happy Hour :). Happy Hour here is from 21-23 or 9pm-11pm. The cocktails here are for 3.90€ which is a very good price. Considering how much alcohol they put in these drinks. I ordered the Mai Tai and a Raspberry cherry Daiquiri. The Mai Tai was really strong but still had pretty good flavor. The Daiquiri on the other hand wasn't as good. Just don't think I am a big Daiquiri kind of guy. Fruit gets stuck in my straw and then I get frustrated. Not for me haha.

The burgers are slightly better than Burger King or McDonald's . But too greasy . I mean , this is…read morewhat most people imagine of an typical American place . Service is not so good, although quite friendly . After eating , I had the wish of not having eaten their stuff.

There are several other fry places in the area, but this one had the most customers (locals to boot), and that's usually a sign of a good place. We were not disappointed. The super friendly guys working the stand were welcoming and while they didn't speak English, we had no problem communicating. We opted to share a "Normal" regular sized order of fries with a garlic mayo sauce. The stand prepares all their sauces fresh onsite every day, and you can tell. There are so many different flavors you can get, from spicy and creamy to exotic and creative. Since you have to pay extra for sauce (BOO, all fries should automatically include free sauce), I didn't want to try something too strange so we stuck with the basics. We waited less than five minutes and watched as our potatoes were fried up fresh to order. The packaging is clever and makes it so easy to share (but there are no tables or seats, so be prepared to eat while standing up or on the go). For less than ten bucks, this was a pretty tasty snack! The potatoes were an extra thick cut that had a ton of flavor. They tasted fresh and were super crispy on the outside, yet light and fluffy on the inside! They had a pretty golden yellow hue too, and the salt was just right. I liked that these fries were cooked in 100% vegetable oil instead of beef fat, which makes them suitable for vegetarians (watch out for the sauces, though, they aren't all vegetarian). This is a great stop if you love street food and fries in general. Oh: and watch out while you are standing in line! There are tons of pigeons that roost in the awnings above, and one teenager behind us got pooped on (so gross).
