Highly recommend to anyone seeking a trip of puzzle-mystery with a nostalgic edge. Huge shoutout to Sabrina & Sylvan for guiding us along the way and their warm hospitality.

Super cute, whimsical and magical experience at the Museum of Make Believe…read more After seeing some Instagram posts and reels about the cute space, my friend and I decided to stop by to visit for a day trip. You do choose a time slot to enter, but due to traffic we were going to be a little bit late. We called and let the staff know and it was no biggie. Parking is a bit confusing since it's near a very busy road and residential area, so just make sure you're not parking where you can get fined or towed. After some confusion, we parked in the structure (unclear if allowed or not, but subsequently nothing happened. Phew!). The museum is located at the business plaza building and immediately stands out with it's beautiful storefront and the door that looks like it's out of a fairytale. Immediately we were welcomed by Sabrina, who was not only super informative (but in an easy to understand, not overwhelming way), but super friendly and made our visit that much more amazing. She knows the lore, knew the key and critical points to swoop in to enhance the magic (like when we went to ask the wise wizard some questions), and was very accommodating overall. The people really do make the magic. During your visit, you can opt to do the scavenger hunts and answer the riddles for some prizes and it varies in difficulty from easy to hard, but everything is open to interpretation based on YOUR IMAGINATION. It's the Museum of Make Believe for a reason. The attention to detail is immaculate, from the miniatures and dioramas, the foliage on the ceiling to the ground, and even in the water closet, there's so much to see and you can easily spend a long time just taking everything in. I won't include spoilers but I love that there's not just a lot to see, but to experience through sound and even smell! Lots of thought went into this museum and I'm glad it's getting expanded as well! Can't wait to see what the future holds for such a magical place!

Each person paid a hefty price for a dinner cruise that never left the dock. 2. The boat is so old it can't even handle being in unstill water. 3. Main floor is extremely hot with no air, cross breeze or circulation. 4. Main floor is very old and dingy looking. I rated it a "3" because an attempt to make things right, by not leaving the dock, they allegedly upgraded us from the bottom shelf alcohol to top shelf. Plus the food was actually pretty good and so was the DJ. I am unconvinced that this boat should even be in business still after our experience.

We recently celebrated our kid's 15th birthday party on the Tikiboat…read more We booked it for 3pm on a Sunday for 50 guests, and had about 45 guests show up. The pros: * Great music, DJ kept the party lively and played requests. *The food (we opted for the Mexican food option) was actually tasty. It included nacho chips, quesadillas, flautitas, and chicken hard shell tacos. Toppings: guac, crema, salsa. Paper plates, napkins, and disposable utensils were all included. Obviously, right? * The staff was chill and helpful The meh: Since this is an honest review, I must include the following. * The boat is dated. It's more like the Krusty Krab than a fancy yacht. * The boat is dingy and not as clean. It could use a good vacuuming, deep cleaning of the rugs and all surfaces. Some fresh paint could help. New tables and chairs too. It definitely needs TLC! * Not sure what happened but 30 kids and 15 adults went through the food quickly. A few of us had very little to eat and by the time we went for more, the food was gone. No left overs. In summary, we had a great experience just wish the boat had a nicer look inside and more cleanliness. If your looking to host an informal even and just want to have a great time, this is the right boat for you. I wouldn't recommend it for an upscale, black tie event. Ps I think 65 people max is a good upper limit if you want to still be able to dance. We had a GREAT time!

I don't always stop by here, but if I'm at San Fransokyo, I WILL stop by here!…read more There's nothing better than a good sour dough bread and you can get a free sample by walking in! Yay! Yippee! Getting anything free from Disney is an appreciated rarity. There's a lot of cool neat trivia about how sour dough is made, the yeast cultures that go into it, historical facts about Boudin, and you can watch them make and bake the bread right there behind a glass window. From start to finish, it's a nice activity that's not super busy and not cortisol spiking at Disney. Honestly, each time I've gone here, all the tables are full, but I don't blame them. It's indoors covered seating and a place you can enjoy your bread bowl and enjoy the scenes of making (and I guess breaking) bread. There's a small cart outside selling the sourdough (regular loaf and cool seasonal/Disney shapes) and it's right next to Aunt Cass's cafe if you would like a bread bowl and some chowder! Love it!

I did not realize The Bakery Tour is just one room explaining how bread is made. Okay so, the exterior is super cute within the San Frantokyo area with great themeing, and an adorable car outside. When I walked in, no one was there which I think may have been the first unusual anomaly for my pop in. Apparently there is usually a cast member handing out samples at the entrance. Just bad timing on that one, so no negative marks for that. Apparently they used to have video screens but now don't even have that in showing you how sourdough bread is made. Just a couple of plaques explaining the process. Cool I guess. I walked in and I walked out. Don't get me wrong, I love the bread and I love the adorable Mickey Mouse design - Vampire Mickey during Halloween! And other seasonal specials throughout the year. However the 'tour' isn't that at all and to be counted as an attraction instead of a shop is bizarre. Love you though, California Adventure!

Went on a 2 hour tour with Captain Erica and Molly, down in Newport Beach. They were absolutely the best. Captain Erica was knowledgeable and friendly that we were able to enjoy the whole ride. We saw a momma grey whale and baby and hundreds and hundreds of bottle nose dolphins. As Captain Erica said, we must have had lucky people on board to experience both on the same tour. Molly got some awesome and amazing shots that she was able to share with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the surfing dolphins that were created by the wake from our boat. The conditions were perfect, and the experience was worth every penny. We're already planning our next tour for the upcoming season and can't wait to book an Oxnard adventure with them. Hopefully we can get this dynamic duo again. Can't speak highly of Captain Erica and Molly. Total worth it. See you guys soon.

But would have been nice to know ahead of time vs the day before. I wouldn't say anyone went above and beyond - but service was professional, courteous. Drinks for the premium bar were definitely on par with CA prices. They provided a list of caterers and for my milestone where I wanted French food - recommended Tom's Catering. We ended up picking a Princess Cruise and related land tours. Dave Branson is our consultant and he took it upon himself to arrange the cruise and our land tours and flights. He did a superlative job. One can only hope that a cruise meets the expectations that the advertisements often pique. In our case, Princess came up short, being that the ship seemed to be out of date in terms of decor and amenities. Food was also inconsistent. The tour advisor cannot be blamed for the failings of the cruise line. Without Dave Branson our experience would have been far different, and probably much less enjoyable.

I've been many times for over 25 years and booked direct and with travel agents. Direct is ok for something simple, you know the cruise line maybe and maybe repeating a trip...say Carnival for the Christmas weekend to Ensenada...but my experience is that the pricing is the same whether buying direct from the line or buying with a travel agent. The travel agent gets a small commission from the line, obviously but they are buying at a discount so the pricing is consistent whether buying from the travel agent or going direct. But what you get FOR FREE from the travel agent is often invaluable in the form of advice about a particular line, the cruise, the ports, where on the ship you want you state room and a dozen other question that these experts to provide. The team at Expedia Laguna Hills is great at this. Old school customer service, actually answering the phone personally and helping you RIGHT NOW, not a website, not endlessly clicking for answers you can't find, real answers when you need them. Dave, Chris and others are responsive, knowledgeable, experienced and very easy to understand, very hard to find in our modern world and so great to have them right here in Orange County.
