Smells like someone died in the hallways even through my mask! Not sure what's up with that and from the other reviews it looks like it's an ongoing problem. Less tolerant types would be upset to stay here. Checked in late and left early, never really had the chance to hook up my Xbox or to check Wi-Fi.

We were given keys to a room, but when we opened the door we found the room had someone's items strewn about, including a suitcase on the bed. This should not be possible at any hotel, let alone a reputable chain. Rooms must be checked and confirmed empty before they can be sold to another person, and a room must never be sold while occupied. The next room provided was nice, and the staff was so accommodating. I'd love to give it a high rating, but there is no way to overlook such a severe problem. I am hopeful this was a fluke, but such an incident can only happen if there are significant problems within multiple levels of both staffing and management; clearly beyond the fault of any single individual.

I paid up front. We arrived at the hotel around 630pm. Myself, my daughter and 1 friend checked into the hotel. The receptionist SAW there were 3 of us checking in. The other friend was coming a little bit after. We got to the room, & I told them I was running to the store for snacks (less than a mile away) & would be right back. While I was gone, the other friend arrived & the 2 girls met her at the door & went back up to room. A short while later, before I got back, the receptionist knocked on the door, yelling about how their manager saw on the cameras they had brought another person up to the room, that the room was for only 2 people (even though I had specified 4 when booking & the room had 2 queen beds, & THE RECEPTIONIST HERSELF CHECKED 3 OF US IN) & that I wasn't allowed to leave them alone in the room (it was for a short while, & they are all 17 & capable of being alone for less than an hour) & that the hotel was kicking them out because they were "partying" (3 girls, no music, no drugs no alcohol broad daylight, I don't know where they got partying from) & if they didn't leave the cops would be called. The girls tried asking why & what they did wrong. Out in the parking lot, they were in the friends car waiting for me to get back, & the cops showed up! THE HOTEL CALLED THE COPS ON US FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. Somehow it was OK to kick 3 teenagers out on the street without even calling me & letting me know what was going on but yet it wasn't OK for me to leave them in the room while I ran to the store. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. One thing, feedback wise, is maybe to put a door before the hallway where the rooms are. The voices echo in the lobby and we could hear them all the way down the hallway. A little thing, but we noticed it. We would definitely stay here again, it was delightful and a great find!!

She takes great care of the cabins and always has great suggestions when you ask her about anything local from food to activities. The property is great for walks and there's some horses and donkeys to check out too. Our dogs always feel at home on the ranch. We love to ride ATV trails and Spur of the Moment has trail access. You ride from your front door to anywhere you like in the area, no trailering. On our last trip we brought a side x side and all the great trails permitted our lager machine. All of the meals we ate out we did by riding our machines to and Ann supplied us with maps so we knew where we were going. The trail system has so many local and long distant places to go to it's good for beginners as well as veterans. Last thing that we've always enjoyed is the other guests. The Ranch is not only good to ATV'ers it's VERY horse friendly. On a busy weekend you can have all types of guests and on every trip we've done it's never mattered what you're into, people are just friendly. It's flat out relaxing.
