I found it easy to make an online appointment. The front desk ladies and check out lady were very…read morefriendly. I went in and provided my symptoms and was given a diagnosis that didn't seem right. I called a couple friends who are MDs and they confirmed some things sounded off. I decided to look at the doctors note on the app and there was inaccurate data written! Things I had never said as symptoms! I called and was told an 'addendum' could be made based on my disagreement with notes. I will be finding another practice ASAP. Read the notes when you leave and trust your gut!!

I have had several issues getting a prescription refilled. One time the pharmacy told me that the…read moredoctors license had expired, one time the refill was never entered by Shiland. Both of these recent issues because of an issue with Shiland, however when I call they still cannot do anything to get the prescription corrected. My doctor only seemed concerned to do 6 month checkups...but would let you know if you have a problem it's going to cost extra. Why go for the checkup if you can't discuss your heath issues. I actually did discuss getting a toe fungus prescription from my doctor, because I had been dealing with it for over a year. I did pay extra to Atrium because I discussed this at my 6 month check up. The prescriptions that the doctor sent to the pharmacy were over $1,500. So I am still dealing with toe fungus. The other problem is that my doctor never seems to be in the office. I am now contacting my health insurance to get recommendations for a new physician.

Being new to the area, I made an appointment over the phone, choosing this office based on proximity to my home & the positive reviews that I read. After giving my insurance information, for some reason my birthdate came back unverified and they were almost refusing me an appointment. I offered to call my insurance company and resolve the issue; they made my appointment. This morning, two hours before my appointment, they stated there were still issues verifying my insurance. I offered to self pay until it was all sorted -- estimated $450, depending on what the Dr. Would be billing me for (Crazy, but I'm unwell so I was willing to pay it) I was made to feel so uncomfortable during this over the phone exchange, the woman answered me "are you sick ? It sounds like you're sick -- is it your throat ? that's why you're coming in today, right?" ... me: "no ma'am, this is my normal voice." I couldn't stand to be on the phone any longer being treated in a rushed manner with zero respect. I cancelled my appointment and will be warning others not to come in. :(

Mandy is very caring and genuine. She takes the time to explain everything in a manner that takes all your worries away. The hormones are awesome. I feel better and have more energy. I once used Dr. Murphy for the pain side. I had some joint pain in my hip. He was able to make the pain go away almost right away, and it has never come back. If you want to be cared for by professionals who really and genuinely care about YOU, then I recommend using Dr Murphy.

A friend recommended me to the clinic, I was suspicious but they took my insurance so that was a good sign. On arrival, I was greeted warmly and ushered back to lab for blood work. Amanda was in charge and did her job thoroughly. I then met with the Dr and he was energetic and passionate about his work. This was all fine---I asked what my next step would be and I'd get a call Monday was what I was told (this was a Friday). The next week came and went and I literally got busy and forgot about the lab work and f/u. I ran into my friend and she asked me about it. I told her I hadn't hear a word--she called the clinic and let them have it....then put me on the phone and they stammered around at why I wasn't called back. The lady explained that their policy was to send off lab to NY for them to supply med's. They wouldn't have called me and apologized if that was what I had expected. My point was that I really didn't want to skip the step of understanding WHAT med's I'd be injected. So, she asked if I could come in the next day--I agreed and missed that appointment due to work conflict. After the feeling that I was just a number and that the meds would be sent to me and I'd bring in---it just didn't set well with me. I have found another place that exudes a more professional in Ballantyne. I hope for anyone that uses them has a much better experience than I did---it just seemed loose and really disconnected for my preference.

They say since it's been 3 years you can only be seen as a new patient. I say that fine and wait a month for an appointment. Why does everyone leave!!!

I contracted Covid in late September 2024 the doctor diagnosed me but did not include a chest xray to see it I got pneumonia. After 20 visits to this practice I was still not getting better, ended up with edema, CDIFF, lung infection, heart issues, and kidney dysfunction. Every visit included bp check, weight, and temperature and she takes notes and sends you for tests but never discusses the results, you need to Google it is what I was told. The care I was given could have cost me my life. I did seek specialists & they all agreed I did not get proper care. Check their credentials and if you get blood work done make sure your insurance covers it. They also overcharged me but I was refunded by Medicare it was completely covered. I thought I had a problem with billing but I could never get appointments timely, answers to my questions or about the medicines I was taking, could not sleep and could not get sleep medications when I needed them. Every aspect of my care was questionable. I found another doctor and was treated properly, discussions and actions were taken and I have learned so much more about what happened to me at FMFP. I was hospitalized 3 times during the course of my Covid due to the inaccurate care I received here. Gained 15 pounds of fluid and she sent me home with water pills I went to emergency room at 3 in the morning it was a life threatening experience they told me!!! Also I was never told to get a stool sample as I had severe diarrhea that turned into CDIFF and that can also kill you. God awful experience here.
