I read the reviews of Just Junk and found them to be fast - they arrived early. They were fair - offering a fair price to remove 1/3 of a truck in waste. They were fast. Everything picked up and gone in 12 minutes. It certainly made the mountain of boxes in my garage disappear. Plus they take donations so that some of it is diverted from the landfill. Well worth checking out. So impressed was I that I gave them a tip.

I rarely ever leave reviews, but in this case, I felt that it was necessary. Using the services of…read moreJarrett junkies was probably the best thing I could've ever done. For starters they were on time, very professional, affordable and worth every dollar I spent. One of the things that caught my attention, is that they were always available to answer the phone and address any concern that I might have. If you're in the Oshawa or Durham area and seeking a junk removal company, Jarrett Junkies is definitely one of the companies that I would recommend.

This is a toughy -…read more I was under the impression that it was going to be way less expensive. I was quoted twice what I thought (based on conversations prior to the in person estimate). The drivers missed my window and that caused a huge setback for me - and lots of stress. I had left the site and had to return, which they accommodated. When they arrived they were very nice and professional however I was super disappointed by the overcharging tactic or what felt like bait and switch. I absolutely refused to pay their exorbitant fees and negotiated - I got what I wanted but was so disappointed by it. I mean, if you wait until the day of your move you will be overcharged so I suggest you get the estimate in advance I think the business model is great and well executed - just wish it was more honest so people can know what to expect up front The guys did a good job and didn't cause any damage or waste time. At this point you have no choice but to continue. In end, this cost me $678.00 which is ludicrous, especially for items that can clearly be donated. On site visit for an estimate is inappropriate as I am sure this happens to everyone.....you find out the final price after it is on the truck....not cool. You should be able to get an online quote so you don't feel pressured to make an instant decision. I will be telling every person I possibly can, not to use this company.
