Had the dulce le leche and pistachio. The helados was good. Not great, not bad. I had to try this place because it's iconic for BA. But there are other places that are better.

The dessert at Rapanui does NOT disappoint. I was fortunate to check out Rapanui in both Buenos Aires and Bariloche and couldn't resist trying out multiple options. The stores are set up in a way where you're in for an experience- their service is top notch and super helpful if you're unsure of what you want to order. And the ambiance is set up in a way where it's inviting, exciting, and just an overall treat to enjoy. This particular location in Palermo has a really nice terrace where you can enjoy your treat. I've tried the chocolate covered frozen strawberries, ice cream, and the ice cream with a shot of espresso inside. All are to DIE for. You won't be disappointed and should try at least a couple of different flavors while you're there.

i only tried the ice cream at rapanui, but it did not disappoint. the quality of the ice cream was very high and the creaminess was unmatched. the flavors were also very unique and delicious. i loved both the franui and lemon pie. service was standard, and the interior was cute. however, the lines were VERY chaotic and people kept cutting to pay for things at the very front. also, when you go to the ice cream part of the store to collect/order your ice cream, people were also cutting. there were no clear lines and it was honestly a bit of a nightmare. overall, i would recommend checking out other locations. rapanui ice cream is very delicious and i would go back, but likely not to this location.

This is a solid chocolate shop that really does it all! There are chocolate bars, chocolate covered nuts, confections, ice cream, it's all wonderful. The prices are very for what you get. If you want ice cream, as you should, order a size at the main counter. Then take that ticket out to the back past the courtyard seating where you pick flavors and turn in your payment receipt. It's a good system to keep people moving. Indoor and excellent outdoor seating is available. Staff speaks some English and accepts credit cards.

There are many options for ice cream in the area so it is difficult to give an accurate rating without trying them all but after sampling a few, this place was one of the better options. The ambience is unique - they have tried to create a garden like environment where you can relax and hang out with friends. The only downside is that it was a bit crowded and trash had been left everywhere when I stopped in so it wasn't very relaxing. You also wait in line to purchase a ticket for your ice cream and then another line to select your ice cream so when they are very busy you do wait a while. The ice cream is very good and there are so many flavors to choose from, so you might want to study the menu before getting in line. The staff is hit or miss on friendliness but they will help you with recommendations and let you sample flavors. I found that the ice cream here is a bit on the softer side so I preferred to get it in a cup so it wasn't so messy as it started to melt. The flavors I tried were Dulce de Leche Rapanui (DDL with brownie and walnuts) and Frambuesa Nevada (raspberry with chocolate mousse and meringue) - a delicious combo!

Individual chocolates, which are fabulous, can be boxed. The packaging is elegant and sophisticated; reeks of good taste. (Pardon the pun.) They are also smart to have some chocolates available to sample. I would have given them 5 stars, but there are some changes/improvements that need to be made: 1. They don't display prices on anything. Being from the U.S., I am accustomed to seeing prices on all merchandise, whether it's a bag of peanuts or a Tesla model S. Otherwise, there is an undertone that makes you feel that the clerk could quote whatever price she wants and then can pocket the difference. Possible? Certainly. Likely? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry. For the lopsided pun, that is. 2. Additionally, the lack of prices requires one to inquire about every single thing. By the time you have asked the price of 4 items, you no longer remember the price of the first. Frustrating. 3. Chocolates should also be accompanied by a description; just 2-3 words would help. You have to point to every single option and ask what it is. By the time she has explained the fourth or fifth chocolate, you no longer remember what the first one was. And there are many more to go ... a needlessly frustrating and confusing situation. The first time we visited and went through this procedure, we left without buying anything. We returned last week only because a friend recommended them as being a favorite of another friend for whom we needed to buy a gift.

On our second visit, the staff was much more attentive and kind, helping us receive the proper discount without unnecessary requests for documents. The chocolates are excellent, though prices are slightly higher than in other branches. Overall, this branch offers a better balance of service and quality compared to other branches, like those in Bariloche, where service can be rushed, chaotic, or even dismissive. I give this branch 4 stars, as the experience is positive and the staff genuinely tried to help.
