The staff is just marvelous and the hand crafted treats make my wife swoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of the wonderful chocolates and being close to Easter, they had a bunch of chocolate bunnies and some awesome chocolate eggs filed with all kinds of surprises. They also have some amazing flavors like Rose water, cardamom and I think aardvark as well. Haha. We got several assortments, some to sample, some for the folks back home. Everyone who got the gift when we got home simply marveled at how beautiful the various chocolates were presented as well as how wonderfully surprising the unusual flavors were. They are expensive for sure, but for a special gift or a real taste of handcrafted Argentina, you cannot do better.

Individual chocolates, which are fabulous, can be boxed. The packaging is elegant and sophisticated; reeks of good taste. (Pardon the pun.) They are also smart to have some chocolates available to sample. I would have given them 5 stars, but there are some changes/improvements that need to be made: 1. They don't display prices on anything. Being from the U.S., I am accustomed to seeing prices on all merchandise, whether it's a bag of peanuts or a Tesla model S. Otherwise, there is an undertone that makes you feel that the clerk could quote whatever price she wants and then can pocket the difference. Possible? Certainly. Likely? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry. For the lopsided pun, that is. 2. Additionally, the lack of prices requires one to inquire about every single thing. By the time you have asked the price of 4 items, you no longer remember the price of the first. Frustrating. 3. Chocolates should also be accompanied by a description; just 2-3 words would help. You have to point to every single option and ask what it is. By the time she has explained the fourth or fifth chocolate, you no longer remember what the first one was. And there are many more to go ... a needlessly frustrating and confusing situation. The first time we visited and went through this procedure, we left without buying anything. We returned last week only because a friend recommended them as being a favorite of another friend for whom we needed to buy a gift.

We wandered in and the lady there was so nice and helpful despite the fact that she spoke no english and I could only use my broken spanish! She gave us samples that definitely clinched the sale. Basically whatever we tasted we bought. Also we had already figured out the kinds of chocolate in spanish and were able to look at the labels to understand the flavors, etc. Delicious chocolate. Great gifts! All made locally in Argentina!
