The staff is just marvelous and the hand crafted treats make my wife swoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of the wonderful chocolates and being close to Easter, they had a bunch of chocolate bunnies and some awesome chocolate eggs filed with all kinds of surprises. They also have some amazing flavors like Rose water, cardamom and I think aardvark as well. Haha. We got several assortments, some to sample, some for the folks back home. Everyone who got the gift when we got home simply marveled at how beautiful the various chocolates were presented as well as how wonderfully surprising the unusual flavors were. They are expensive for sure, but for a special gift or a real taste of handcrafted Argentina, you cannot do better.

Very incompetent and beyond rude service. If you don't mind to be treated like garbage while drinking coffee this is the place for you. Individual chocolates, which are fabulous, can be boxed. The packaging is elegant and sophisticated; reeks of good taste. (Pardon the pun.) They are also smart to have some chocolates available to sample. I would have given them 5 stars, but there are some changes/improvements that need to be made: 1. They don't display prices on anything. Being from the U.S., I am accustomed to seeing prices on all merchandise, whether it's a bag of peanuts or a Tesla model S. Otherwise, there is an undertone that makes you feel that the clerk could quote whatever price she wants and then can pocket the difference. Possible? Certainly. Likely? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry. For the lopsided pun, that is. 2. Additionally, the lack of prices requires one to inquire about every single thing. By the time you have asked the price of 4 items, you no longer remember the price of the first. Frustrating. 3. Chocolates should also be accompanied by a description; just 2-3 words would help. You have to point to every single option and ask what it is. By the time she has explained the fourth or fifth chocolate, you no longer remember what the first one was. And there are many more to go ... a needlessly frustrating and confusing situation. The first time we visited and went through this procedure, we left without buying anything. We returned last week only because a friend recommended them as being a favorite of another friend for whom we needed to buy a gift.

On our second visit, the staff was much more attentive and kind, helping us receive the proper discount without unnecessary requests for documents. The chocolates are excellent, though prices are slightly higher than in other branches. Overall, this branch offers a better balance of service and quality compared to other branches, like those in Bariloche, where service can be rushed, chaotic, or even dismissive. I give this branch 4 stars, as the experience is positive and the staff genuinely tried to help.

My name is Fernanda, I'm a chocoholic - and that is not a secret to anyone. We were living in Palermo, so we took a cab to Recoleta to buy chocolates and walk around this super cute neighborhood. When we walked into the Recoleta Shopping we saw many stores, from high fashion brands to little coffee shops, but when we finally saw Mamuschka from the bottom of the escalator, I knew it was love at first sight. Decor is stunning, a lot of those little Russian dolls and very adorable cans and boxes. You can pick any chocolate you want and design a little paper box or nice and big decorated can. Staff is great, lady was really helpful and offered some free samples to help us choose. If you are looking for a different and delicious souvenir to bring home, a present for a birthday, pregnancy or whatever else this should be a great choice. Come on over and indulge yourself.
