His focus on the safety aspects are truly what gives added value to a class that already has an excellent price point. I will be signing up my daughter for the class . His teaching style makes you very comfortable. He is not your typical monotone instructor. From the very beginning everything is structured in a way you can tell he wants you to be successful and understand safety, the CCW process, and the basics of firing a weapon. In the photo you see how I did after some basic instruction. I had no handgun experience going in. Even if I wasn't wanting a CCW I would recommend the class. With the law changes, anyone who plans to carry should take a safety class and his is definitely worth it.

I was impressed that, whilst he is clearly very pro gun, that was not overly pushed on us and he focused on teaching us what we needed to know. I just have a pistol, so the only bays I've been to are 1-5. They are right in front of the office where you sign in and out. You can walk from the parking lot to the bay or you can drive there. The shooting bays are more or less private and surrounded on all sides by berms. If the measuring app on my phone is to be believed, bays 1-5 offer up to 50 ft distance depending on where you stand. There is a camera watching each bay, so make sure you follow range rules. As for the rest of the facilities, I was never offered a tour or orientation, so i couldn't say. If you are thinking of coming here, there is a waiver and safety quiz you have to fill out. You can do it in their office, but it's easier imho to do it on their website before you arrive. You can rent their equipment or bring your own.
