Everyone we took it to just scratched their head and said, "Jeez, I don't know. Maybe you should just get a new car." Eventually we ran into someone who had been through the same scenario. "Don Musser is the guy I took it to," he told us. We got his phone number, called to give him an idea of what to expect, and asked for a ballpark estimate. The number he gave us seemed reasonable, but I prepared myself to expect the final bill to be higher than his estimate. I know enough about bodywork to know this wasn't going to be a quick and easy job. It wasn't simply cutting out the bad metal and welding on plate, then finishwork (which is a lot of work by itself). This repair meant fabricating a new shock mounting plate with all sorts of profile precision. I was skeptical of his bid, but even at twice the price, it would still be cheaper than replacing the vehicle. We dropped off the car and he said he'd need a week. 5 days later, he called and said the car was finished. To our surprise, the total bill was only about 75% of his bid price. He said it wasn't actually as bad as he'd first thought. Now I was really skeptical. I thought, there's no way he could have done all that work for that price without doing a half-assed job. I showed up fully prepared to be unhappy with the results. I have been professionally restoring yachts for 20+ years and I have an extremely knowledgeable and critical eye when it comes to structural, fit, and finish work. I was absolutely shocked by what I saw. It was flawless. Not just the shaping of the profile and the finishwork, but structurally too. The welded plate was seamless, large enough to ensure it was welded to good steel, and it was a heavy enough gauge to take the abuse of a suspension system. Given the location of the repair, I also expected the interior to take a bit of a hit, but it was fine too. Don took a lot of care to shield the delicate molded plastics from the heat of welding. To top it off, he matched the undercoating from the driver's side wheel well so the overall repair is invisible even when compared to the other side. 5 stars all day. I don't write a lot of reviews and I can be a pain in the ass as a customer because I have very high standards, so when I say Don Musser did a great job, I hope you understand the full weight of that sentence.

For a $115 detailing I would expect a more detailed cleaning than this, not a half ass job cleaning. Idk if the rag they used was dirty or what solution it was, but when we drove late last night the windshield was so smudgy, it was hard to see! They also did not clean the windows in the back at all its full of finger prints and smudge. Majority of the time I detail our own car, but we are so busy and I do not have my tools to do the job myself as we were staying with the family and in route to our next duty station. The car has to passed the inspection to be able to ship it to my husbands next military duty station, is the main reason we called this detailing company, and now we have so much to touch up still! Theres also some crevices where the captain seating slide back and forth thats not at all been cleaned out. It is so dirty, full of crumbs, and they told my husband they cant get it because theres some grease! For a detailing company, I would expect them to have more tools to get the job done their customer needs. My in laws thought of going thru them to get some detailing, but changed their mind after seeing how they did. We do not recommend this detailing company! The transaction is under my husbands information not under my name incase the owner of this place tries to verify it.

He's the most honest and straight forward mechanic you could ask for. One of my car's issues was with its computer, even though part of the repair went beyond this shops capabilities they still stayed in touch, recommending a car dealer and ensuring the proper repair was accomplished. They charge by the hour and do a great job at keeping you updated on the car's status. I don't plan on going to any other repair shop after working with these guys.

I had my 2012 Land Rover Evoque towed there because it would idle erratically and stall after the…read moreinitial warmup. Told him my code reader said most likely a PCV valve. He had it for 2+ weeks. When I went to check on it, he said he replaced the spark plugs, mass air flow sensor, replaced a bolt in the turbo and added oil, for a cost of $509 (negotiated down from $700) and he also acknowledged it did not make it run any better. Then he proceeded to tell me he thinks the turbo is going bad (mind you the turbo does nothing at idle speed). He never hooked it to a computer or checked the codes. I then had it towed back home. I ordered a PCV valve ($52 from FCP Euro) and vacuum pump gasket ($12, my suspected oil leak location). Replacing the two parts took me 3-4 hours in my garage. It has been 1 month and over 500 miles since the repair. No issues. Pretty disappointed that i spent $250 in towing, and over $500 in repairs for them to do shade tree mechanic diagnosis and repair. Also, when the car arrived back at my house the interior was filthy. The car had a tan/beige interior and the front seat and dash had oil and dirt stains all over them. DO NOT GO THERE.
