I am now on my 3rd amendment (things change) and Cynthia has been very responsive, explaining the options and providing her best recommendations. I once needed a new deed when I moved property from personal ownership to a rental LLC. When I needed to move back into the LLC property she saved me a bundle by counseling me to give a long-term lease to myself so I could avoid title transfer from myself to, well, myself. ;-) I was still able to obtain the "homestead exemption" from Kauai County. I'm now out of state on an extended, multi-month, trip but Cynthia has been outstanding responding to my unanticipated needs by providing an outline of my options and explaining concisely what those options meant. No gobble-gook repeating the same thing over and over again trying to inflate her time charge as I've experienced with way too many lawyers. I also appreciate that she's always happy so very easy to communicate with.

After being hit by someone who crossed double yellow lines into my lane, hitting me head on which resulted in pain and the inability to walk or work for months, I needed help finding restitution for loss of work and medical bills. The amazing team of Daniel, Mathew, Michelle and Craig fought zealously on my behalf to resolve the case in a favorable manner. They were able to walk me through a very difficult healing process. Their timely responses to my calls and thorough answers to my questions kept me at ease and allowed me to focus on healing. I would highly recommend this firm for any type of legal services. I have heard many people going through legal situations who complain about attorneys and their non-responsiveness and/or lack of care for their personal case. This firm is unique because they do care, they are responsive, and and they deliver powerful positive results for their clients.

Dan and his team (Craig, Michelle, Megan, Mathew) not only were helpful to me with my case but they were quick to offer helpful recommendations for many of the extremely heart wrenching burdens that were hurled upon me due to the nature of my situation. When I first came to their office they displayed a calm and empathetic demeanor. Their genuine approach offered emotional relief to myself/my family throughout the entirety of my case and has extended even beyond it. The De Costa Hempey team have consistently proven to me that they encompass resourcefulness, competence, thoroughness and that they are passionate, will fight for justice, and have always had their clients' best interest at heart. They never missed a scheduled meeting and always took my many frantic and frequent calls. I continually felt up to date, informed, and that I was in the very best of hands. I have received such dedicated service to my case that it has allowed me to focus on what was, and what is the most important after suffering the unexpected and traumatic loss of my beloved husband...healing and recovery. If it wasn't for them, I honestly don't know where I'd be. I feel eternally grateful for their faithful service and I would recommend them without any reservation.
